Chapter 8

Sorry that I havent wrote in forever! :/ School ruins my life. ugh. Well anyways, I have today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday, off. Half day Wednsday. For school. We have exams Wednsday. WE HAVENT EVEN HAD A FULL WEEK OF SCHOOL YET!? yay! :) But, In all seriousness, we havent. lol. CHAPTER 9!! :)

|Payton dreaming...| *FLASHBACK*

*5 years old*

I woke up out of bed, trembling. Where am I? I stood up, and walked over to a door, and opened it. I saw a tall figure hovering over me like a huge skyscraper. Quickly, the scene changed, and I was in the kitchen. Lying on the cold hard ground. (A/N; see what I did there? ;)) I touched my cheek where a burning feeling was left. It stung really bad when I touched it. I saw the tall figure again, this time his face clear. My Father. He kicked my tiny body all over. I screamed out in pain, but no one came to help. I was helpless.

He pulled me up by my hair and threw me across the kitchen, making my face come in contact with a table. I cried really hard, but he shushed me.

"SHUT UP BITCH!" He screamed, slapping me once again.

I cried even harder, until he punched me in the nose, and I was out.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I woke up, sweating and scared shitless. I started to cry, until I felt someone move beside me.

"Payton? What's wrong?" A husky voice asked.

"Harry?" I sobbed.

"Yeah."

I engolfed him into a tight hug, sobbing into his neck. I felt his arms tighten around my body, as he held me tight, as I shook in horror.

"What's wrong Pay? Are you alright?" He asked.

"No." I cried even harder, still horrified.

"What happened?" He asked, pulling me away, looking into my watery eyes.

"My father." I sobbed, and hugged him again.

"What did he do to you?" Harry asked.

"Abused, abandoned, hurt me."

"What?! Why?" He asked.

"I guess that's what fathers do when they don't love someone."

"I do not understand why he would hurt such a beautiful, princess like you." Harry smiled.

I looked at him with shock, at what he just spoke. All of the sudden, I felt a pair of soft, lips on mine. I hesitated at first, then started to kiss back. It got a little more heated when he licked my bottom lip, as I accepted. I started to straddle on his lap, as it kept getting heated. All at once, everything stoped. He pulled away, as he looked at me.

"Listen, you are the most beautiful girl in the whole world. Im really sorry for hurting you all of these years. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.

I blushed a whole lot, then nodded. He smiled at me, and then kissed me once more.

"We should go back to sleep." Harry suggested.

"Yeah."

I quickly fell asleep in his comforting, protecting arms, and dreamed a better dream.
