Tomorrow's Promise

I can't say that its easy, to be honest, it's going to be hard,

To say goodbye, to try and let go because that's what is in the cards.

You have my heart in your hands, even from the start,

I loved you even then, didn't even want us to part.

I know that you have to leave, somewhat against your will,

And even though you'll be gone, I will love you still.

Because true love is forever and love is never ending,

And maybe in the future tomorrow we'll be spending.

I can't let you see my tears, or fears, pain or sorrow,

Cuz I know I'll be hurting you more when you leave tomorrow.

And hurting you is something I never wish to do,

Telling you would only cause my fear to come true.

As tomorrow grows near and my heart grows sad,

I must admit, you were the best I ever had.

You don't have a place in my heart, my heart is yours,

And maybe tomorrow's promise will open many doors.
