FAST FORWARD TO GRADUATION

Lauren's POV:

"I can't believe you stuck with me baby, three whole years"I say grinning pulling her into me by her waist.

She blushed "I knew since the moment I saw you that I couldn't let you go"

I smiled a puckered my lips out, she lightly pecked them not wanting to get her lipstick all over me. We're were in our room getting dressed as both sets of our parents waited in the living room for us.

"You look beautiful. I'm so proud of you" she says gushing over me. She's saying that because she knew that toward the end of my college career I started doubting myself but I pushed through.

I smiled "I'm so proud of us"

She already has many offers for huge dance companies all over LA, they are basically fighting for her to pick them. As for me I got an internship at the company Scripted, I love writing and safe to say once I land this job I will be making a lot of money for doing what I love.

We exited the room in our white cap and gowns on and entered to a living room full of crying parents.

"Ooh! My baby" Mama Drea said running over to Normani "Look at you I'm so proud of you, you look so beautiful" she said straightening out her cap in such a proud mommish way.

I look over at my mom who has tissues wiping her nose. She looks up a smiles "Mija, mommys baby". I hold my arms out to her and she hugs tight. I feel my eyes start to water "hey it's too early for crying mami, don't make me cry now" I say chuckling trying to hold in my tears.

My dad walks over too, I can tell he was emotional ass well. This was such a big day. I'm glad I'm getting to spend moments like this my my girlfriend and our families. This is special.

Normani's POV:

"KARLA CAMILA CABELLO" I hear the announcer say and the screams roar. I smile looking over to see Sinu crying in the audience. I had already spotted all of or parents.

"ZENDAYA COLEMAN" I look over to see Dinah crying and proudly cheering her baby on as she walks across the stage. She does this little goofy dance before grabbing her diploma which just proves that her and Dinah are soulmates. I'm so happy for them, I'm happy for my bestfriend to have finally found a love that she wouldn't give up on in hopes of getting me. She loved this girl & the ready of us has grown really close to her as well.

A few more names are called and they reach me, my name. I did it. "NORMANI KORDEI HAMILTON". The moment passed by faster then I could imagine, all of the highs and lows of being a part of this university was finally coming to an end. I look at the crowd and see the many people cheering and applauding. I look at the section with the graduates and I see Camila smiling and clapping. I see zendaya pumping her fist in the air. I see Dinah waving both hands in the air looking way to excited. Lastly I see my baby, she's mouthing I love you. I couldn't imagine this moment being any better.

"DINAH HANSEN". She looks at me and gives me a 'we did it' smile before going to walk across stage. I look in the audience to see Milika going bonkers "THATS MY BABY RIGHT THERE YASSSSSS MY BABY" she says hopping around doing the church stomp. I laugh, I know Dinah is going to be so embarrassed. She walks towards the dean and they both look at eachother and dab before he hands it to her and shakes her hand. I shake my head at my bestfriend I know that was probably the moment of her life. She waves at zendaya who has her arm reached our for her smiling.

None of these names matter until I hear my loves, my babies. "LAUREN JAUREGUI" she stands with her smile stretching ear to ear and I suddenly feel tears flowing down my face. Only she can make me cry in public, I hate crying. My baby.

She looks so beautiful and happy, it's a sight to see. She walks on stage and grabs her diploma being sure to give the dean a long hug, he's helped her a lot through out her time in college. They exchange a few words before she starts walking again. Before she reaches the end of the stage she blows me a kiss resulting in my heart fluttering out of my chest. I love her so much it hurts. I catch it and put it into the pocket of my gown causing her to blush.

It's picture time, my favorite part. I take a picture with Dinah first, we're holding hands and koala kissing. I then take a picture with Camila and zendaya. I take pictures with my family every.. single.. one.. of.. them. And trust me a lot came.

I look over to Lauren who's posing in a picture with her brother. It's snaps and she looks at me with a smile and holds her arms out.

I run into them and jump on her with my legs straddling her waist. She forced her lips onto mine and I had to try hard not to use tongue to keep it pg-13.

I hop down and I hear my mom say "Come on you two, smile" I put my arm around her waist and she slides hers to cup my butt causing me to chuckle, that's my girlfriend for you.

I smile ready for the picture and she pushes her lips into my cheek. The camera snaps and I already know that this is going to be my favorite picture I've ever taken.

The long day was finally coming to an end. Our parents left to go back home and me and Lauren sat in our bed, taking in everything that took place during this very eventful day.

She was holding my hand rubbing her thumb across it "I have so many plans for us baby" she says causing me to blush.

"Oh yeah? Let me hear some of them"

"In a few years we'll move out of this apartment into a big house once I save my money up, I'll propose to you the best way possible making you Normani Kordei Jauregui, We're going to have kids which ever way you choose. Adoption.. surrogate it doesn't matter to me. We're going to be together forever Normani, I'm not letting you leave me"

No one can make my heart swell like she does. "I love you Lauren" I say pulling her into a kiss "I can't wait to have all of that with you"

I fell in love with my roommate how ironic.
