I was sitting up the back in Engish with the handsome Mr Monroe ignoring my exsistace as usual. Usually this class is filled with Stacy's comments and remarks about how studing enlish is a waste of time when we already know how to speak english. Even though that has nothing to do with the subject. She thinks the government should.ban it and let teenagers improve their social skills, then she likes to remind me and the rest of the class that I don't have one.

Yeah, it's great having two weeks without her.

When the green door opened and a very sexy Landon walked in my mood drastically improved. Amazing how just the sight or mention of his name lifted my spirits. I wonder what'll happen if those lips touched mine. Stop it Hazel. Get those beautiful, perfect, lucious lips out of your head. Of course thinking about not thinking about them only mad me think about them more.

He made his way up to the back and sat in the vacant seat on my right. "Hey" He said. It took everyhing not to burst into a silly smile. "Hey," I said, nonchalantly I hoped. "We're on page seventy-six too" I smiled.

I got one of those, you know half smiles. The ones that are so sexy you feel like a melting popsical? Yeah, I felt like I was going to melt to the ground like the witch of 'Wizard of Oz'.

"Today, you're going to be woking as partners and coming up with a five hundred word story. I'm going to give you a sentance and you must write about a snapshot in time. And yes, it must be relevent to the paper I give you," Mr Monroe said. "You have one minute to figure out the groups or I will make them. Go."

Everyone got up to find a partner. I didn't move. I usually work independantly. No-one wants to work with a witch. Suddenly Landon moved his hair so he sat next to me at my table. "Partner, I hope you're good at writing." he winked.

Oh god, I'm going to have to do this by myself. Like usual. All though, I do have a partner this time.

We got given 'marrying the love of your life'. When I saw it I choked on my own saliva. Landon looked at me confused "What?" I asked.

"What was that about?" He raised an eyebrow. I was instantly jealous. I've always wanted to do that. "Oh, it's just a coincidence that sir gave us this topic."

"Why?"

"I've always rambled on to him that I want to fall in love and get married and live forever with the life of my life."

He stiffens "What makes you say that?"

"I've always had these dreams where im in love with someone. We're always in some place new, England, Germany, Paris and so forth. I never see his face though, but it's always the same guy. I just know it,"

I look at him expecting him to be laughing or something but he isn't. He looks serious, like he's actually taking into account what I just said. "Sorry, I ramble alot. Shall we get started?" Instead of answering me, he grabs a hold of my forearm "If you wait for love to come to you, you'll find it. If you go chasing it, it will never work."

I nod and then we get started on our peice. At the end of the lesson, we have to read them aloud. I took.the inititive and read ours out. "Wow, that was really good guys. I'm proud" Mr Monroe says. I sit down and recieve a pat off Landon, "We make a fantastic team Haze."

When the bell goes, I run through the corridors like a mad man. I find Steph at our usual table and I eargerly jump into my seat. "Oh my god, you'll never believe what happned!"

I told her about what happened in English. When I was done she was silent. "Say something Steph"

"Wait, so in two days: he drove you home, he went inside your home and watched a movie while you were home alone, you have his number and now that? I think someone is crushing on our beautiful Hazel here." She smiled. And squealed really loud.

"Who has a crush on Haze?" A familar voice said. I didn't have to turn to see who the voice belonged too. I already knew. "Oh no-one, just silly girl talk," Steph said. "Well I have to go to the library, bye." She said in one breath getting up from the table.

"Does she do that alot?" He asked.

"Do what alot?"

"Rush away everytime something awkward happens?"

I shrug, "Yeah, that's Steph."

He sits across from me at our table. We don't speak but the silence isn't awkward or heavy. It suprisingy comfortable and light. It feels so familar sitting next to him. But.not even just that. Yesterday, in his car and at home, it did too. And when I first saw him, when we looked into each others eyes, I feel safe around him. Like i've known him from somewhere.

I looked at him. His light brown - with some blonde- hair was about two inches long. It was messy today, but it made him sexier. He was wearing a black top and jeans that hung low on his hips. I wish I could take his shirt off. I really hope I said that in my mind not out loud because he started to chuckle.

"Did I say something just now?" I asked nervously. "No, why?"

"Oh, I was thinking and I have a terrible habbit of telling the public what I think." I lied.

Lying is against everything my parents stand for. I think that's why I can do it so easily. I always lie to them about where I'm going and with whom. Or when we have to confess our 'sins'.

Landon starts to actually laugh now. I didn't say anything funny did I? "No, no you were private this time."

"Haze, do you need a ride home?"

"Yeah I think so. I think Steph will pull another stunt like yesterday."

The bells rings and I have Creative Writing then finally home. I know thatLandon has all the same subjects as I do, so we walk together without saying a word.

Yeah, I think i'm falling for the new kid.
