I like him. In fact I really really like him. Every time I see him my heart flutters and my feelings grow and intensify. The butterflies in the pit of my stomach demand to be felt and noticed by fluttering around and around. As if they're on drugs or something.

He's a brown haired, brown eyed beauty. No-one can deny him of that. Over the past week we've grown close quickly. He's smart, nice, protective; he's down to earth and over all a cool guy. Very passionate about history. He loves it, probably wishes he could marry it, if only it was allowed.

The sun was starting to rise. About half of the sun was hidden by the horizon. It is a sight that I'll never forget.

"Come on," Landon says holding out his hand. I put my hand in his and I can't ignore the shock of electricity I felt when I touched him. It happens all the time.

"Where are we going?" I look up at him.

A smile appears on his face and his eyes shine, "Where going to take pictures,"

"Why?"

"So we can remember this day forever." He whispers in my ear.

We stand up and walk over to an old man in a blue button down shirt with black jeans. He looked about fifty years of age, his hair turning salt and pepper style. He has dark brown eyes similar to Landons. He was as tall as him too. The man was a bit on the larger side.

"Excuse me, can you please take a photo of us?" Landon asks the man.

The man smiles at us, "Certainly." Landons hands him his phone. He puts an arm around my waist and I do the same. He looks down at me as I look up to him, "Smile," he says. I smile and look into his eyes.

"3...2...1," Click.

Landon grabs his phone off the man, "Thank you sir." The man nods, "You and your girlfriend look lovely," he says before heading back on his path.

I snatch Landons phone out of his hands and look at the photo. "This is the sweetest photo I've ever seen." I shriek sending myself the photo.

We walk back to the blanket and sit down. "What colour are your eyes?" I blurt out. He chuckles to himself, "What?"

"What colour are my eyes? What kind of question is that?"

I shrug. Great question Hazel.

"Their black."

I knew it.

On the way to school Landon was starting to act really weird. His eyes were on the road but they were somewhere far off, along with his thoughts. I don't think I've ever seen him so deep in thought before.

Thinking makes Landon look sexy.

Wow, nice Hazel, nice.

"What's wrong?" I be brave and ask. I didn't want to pull him out of his thoughts but I mean, we could have an accident.

He looks over to me and smiles that noticably doesn't reach his eyes, "Nothing, why would anything be wrong?"

"Because you're lost in thought and it looks like it's taking a toll on you. That's why."

He sighs, "Look I need to tell you something but it's not the right time."

What could he possibly have to tell me? Do I have something on my face? Maybe he likes me. Then I can finally confess my feelings for him and we can run away together forever.

"When are you going to tell me?"

"When you're ready for that conversation, it'll be soon though."
