I don't own anything from Greys Anatomy, this is simply just for fun. Hope you enjoy!

Once again, it was raining in Seattle. Pretty typical really. I grabbed my phone and scrolled through my texts, looking for the details to the party tonight. I sighed miserably grabbing my shoes and umbrella, of course. It was unnaturally dark tonight, I looked down at my watch: 22:33. I contemplated with myself if I should just turn back and blow this party off, or if I should show my face after...the accident. Ideally, I just wanted to sit at home and binge watch my favourite TV show, Sex and the City. Suddenly, I was snapped out of my fantasy with a scream of "Catriona" coming towards me. There she was...the tall, big eyed, brunette, crazy human being – my best friend Mia. Before I knew it, she was snatching me into the club and dragging me to the bar.

I didn't even feel like drinking, everything had been so crazy recently. However, I knew Mia would get her way so I graciously drank the mojito she had ordered me. Then she dragged me away from it to dance, how fucking rude. She could at least have let me get smashed before I embarrassed myself up there, to be quite frank I didn't even care at this point. I pointed her over to a guy that was checking her out so that I could sneak back and have another drink of my mojito – at this stage I'd probably down it in one - so that's exactly what I did. However, I saw the guy get pretty touchy feely with Mia so I had to get her before another bad thing happened under my watch. 5 mojitos later and I found myself a little tipsy. We were staggering down the streets of Seattle, figuring what to do next. Surprisingly, I had enjoyed myself tonight. I owe it to Mia, after the incident I had shut myself away and she was right there for me. Although she is a pretty annoying drunk, she spoke sense to me. I kept repeating her words to myself as I left her at her house and headed back to mines – "You can't let what happened to Chris hold you back, you're young. You need to cherish every moment of your life before it's gone. That's what he would want" – I found myself bawling my eyes out now, I get really emotional when I drink I guess. Just as I was nearly home...blackness struck.

Through my blurry eyes, I could see lights. Lots of them, flashing red and white. Where was I? What the hell was happening? I heard echoes of people shouting "Can you hear me?" "I need you to answer me" "Hang in there". I really didn't know what was happening, but as my eyes kept opening and closing repeatedly the blackness struck again.
