Nobody's POV
Yoongi was about to go to his studio when Hoseok came with a message.

"Your Highness, a noble wishes to speak with you. He claims that he's the guardian of the witch girl," Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows. Sighing, he sent the head butler to bring the guest to his studio. When the visitor came in, his face was grim.

"Thank you for your time, Your Highness. So, may I-"

"Hyung, you can drop the formality. It's only us here,"

"Oh, great. Let me start again. So what the actual fuck happened to Jiyoo bastard?" He demanded, slow and sharp. Yoongi blinked, not expecting the sudden vulgar words.

"That change quickly. But I'll let it pass. If you already know what happened, I want to make it clear that I'm not going to repeat it again," Yoongi said coolly.

"And why not?"

"Because I rather not too,"

"Whatever, Yoongi. I just wanted to take her home. Can I?" To Seokjin's surprise, the king declined.

"I'm sorry hyung, but I have to refuse. We're keeping her here for further... observations. Her case is rare, and we couldn't predict what will happen to her in a long period of time," Yoongi explained but the noble wasn't accepting it. He became furious.

"Why the heck?! I'm her guardian and you guys are claiming authority on her?"

"As I said, she is under intensive care for now. But don't worry, it's not like we're going to hurt her more or anything, I promise you," Yoongi said, still calm. Seokjin scoffed.

"After what that kid did? You're promising me nothing, Yoongi. Nothing!" He yelled angrily. That hit the line, Yoongi thought in anger.

"Whatever he did, he is still my brother. As much respect you have for me as the king and your friend, please have respect for him as the prince and my brother, Kim Seokjin," he clenched his fist. Glaring, Seokjin simply sneered.

"Prove that His Royal Highness Prince Jungkook can treat her well and I'll take back my words," and with that, he stormed out of the room leaving the now angered young king.

Taehyung's POV
Jiyoo finally decided to leave her room and joined us for meals. It was relieving since she had been losing a lot of weight from what I saw. Six days without any food for a girl who lost a lot of blood like her was totally no joke. But the bubbly Jiyoo was still under the weather most of the time.

"Jiyoo? Have you eaten lunch?" I approached her. She smiled a bit and nodded. Awkward silence.

"I miss school," she suddenly said. I looked at her and let out a small laugh.

"You know what, if you wanted to go to school as usual, I can ask hyung about it,"

"Really?" Her face lighted up for the first time in these six days. I nodded, and she grinned in delight.

"Thanks Taehyung!"

Jimin's POV
Now that we were actually going back to school, Jiyoo's mood had became a whole lot better. She was talking non-stop since breakfast to be frank. It was almost like nothing actually happened. But I was glad.

"Okay, Jiyoo. Close your eyes, no peeking," I warned her. She pouted and complaint on why she couldn't see the way out of the castle. We chuckled and replied with a wink. She closed her eyes reluctantly. After a few minutes zooming through the woods, we came to the exit.

"Okay, you may open your eyes now," Taehyung said. She obeyed and ran childishly ahead with Taehyung closely behind. She was really excited, huh? I watched her chatting away with Tae giddily all the way to school.

"She's still avoiding me,"

I glanced to my side and saw a sulky Jungkook. Letting out a soft laugh, I patted his back gently.

"It's fine. It takes time, sure, but it's worth it. Remember your deal with hyung?"

"Take care of her like a princess and everything will be fine for us," Jungkook said flatly. He complaint a little but agreed on the deal. I grinned widely and messed his hair.

"Yah! I spent 30 minutes on that this morning, hyung," he pouted. I laughed.

"Since when are you into this hair thing?" I asked with remaining laugh. He just shrugged it off and sped up to school since it was getting late.

Jungkook's POV
It was hard for me to keep the deal going though. She kept avoiding me! I couldn't even get a chance to talk to her. I only got to watch her back from afar and made sure she was out of troubles. But I guessed those little things finally caught her attention.

After almost a week of school, we managed to avoid the awkwardness. We were not that close, but enough for me to actually take care of her. Seems like Jimin hyung was right after all. All those efforts of helping her with homeworks, teaming up in group projects, having lunch together, waiting for her after school ends, they had finally paid off. I didn't want to lie, but I felt kinda warm inside because of this.

Jiyoo's POV
Jungkook was trying super hard in making me feel comfortable with him. I decided to avoid him more but I just... couldn't. I mean, how could I avoid him when he was always there wherever and whenever I was?

At first, I was annoyed. I didn't ask for a bodyguard or whatever, and he was acting like one. But as time passed on, I actually began to appreciate those things he did. And before I realized it, I was no longer letting the cold air lingering around us.

One day, I decided to thank him. School ended. As usual, Jungkook was waiting for me outside. Inhaling deeply, I walked up to him and poked his shoulder lightly. He looked up from his phone.

"What? You want to go somewhere?"

"No. Umm, I know about that deal of yours. And I... don't care if you're not really doing this because you worry about me or what, but thank you, I appreciate them," I smiled. He blushed a little at my words.

"Umm, it's nothing. It's just... because... hyung told me to take care of you, so don't get the wrong idea," he replied and turned away quickly. I giggled. Shy Kookie is cute, I thought.

"Let's go, they might be waiting for us already," he was already ahead of me. Grinning, I ran a bit and caught up with him.
