Nobody's POV
The three princes scooted over to what looked like a very old scroll. Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed at the almost unreadable words."This must've been long before appa's days," Taehyung muttered softly. Mrs. Kwon casted a magic and clouds of black smoke formed around the scroll and to the princes' surprise, the words became clearer.
"I never knew that kind of magic," Jimin's mouth hung open.
"It's an oldie. There, you can read it now,"
As of today, August 7, 1900, I lost my beloved daughter. My only light of hope. And never once I stopped feeling the guilt that nestled in my heart. If only I had stopped her from going to the woods alone. If only I knew sooner about what happened to her. If only I could stop her from falling in love with him.
To my delight, I actually found a way to cure her. Even if it meant to move here, in the kingdom of the vampires, I didn't care. As long as she recovered. Alas, the fate play was too cruel. The ritual was a failure. She left me.
By now, I know I should forget about what happened and forgive the vampire boy. But never did I found him. Did he ran away? Or was he also mourning for her death, just like what I did? I never knew.
To whoever who is reading this scroll now, please try to save your beloved one, for it is not impossible to do so. Beneath is what you shall find and do. I plead, save your treasured. Because I failed to, and I know how it felt.
We were silent for a moment, focusing on the recipe of the antidote. On the bottom corner, there was the initials of the writer.
"KJM?" Taehyung pursed his lips. Mrs. Kwon's face was serious when she turned to Jungkook.
"Young prince, will you risk your life preparing the ritual for her?"
"Yes," Jungkook answered unhesitantly. She stood up and took another scroll. It was a hand-drawn map of Bloodfilia, a very detailed one with scribbles here and there.
"The one who drew this must be the same one as the writer," Jimin concluded. The old woman nodded. Handing both the map and scroll to Jungkook, she patted his back gently.
"Go, save her," she said softly. He smiled and promised to do so. As they walked out, he turned to the hunched woman.
"KJM, it's you right?" Her eyes widened before she let out an airy laugh.
"Ah, you figured it out. How?"
"The smell of your blood. It's the same as Jiyoo's," he grinned. Mrs. Kwon closed her eyes and smiled.
"After centuries of hiding among the vampires, the prince himself acknowledged me as a witch. How shameful,"
"It's not. I'm sorry on behalf of my appa, it must've been hard for you to hide your identity. And for your daughter, accept my humble condolence," he bowed.
"It doesn't matter now. I knew she never blamed me, so I shouldn't too. Now, go and save the girl, I wish you luck," she waved him farewell as he walked off, catching up with his brothers. The hunched old woman sighed.
"If only you knew the boy was your father,"
Jungkook's POV
When we arrived at the castle, Seokjin hyung was already there, sitting on one of the garden's bench. His face showed great despair. I slowed down my steps, unsure to meet him."Jungkook?" Tae hyung looked back. Surely they saw the anxious look on my face, so they kept assuring me everything will be fine. Nodding slowly, I walked up to him. He stood up immediately.
