Oh god, I was rushing about this morning, and boy was it hectic! Apparently, the King is dead and Queen Gwen needed a new servant, somehow that ended up being me.

I ran from the horses to the kitchen and the Queen's chambers, and I loved to keep the woman company so she wouldn't act all depressed. I felt bad for her and I felt her pain, I lost my brother and mother when I was just a girl. My father, God don't even go there! He won't talk to me, and I don't even know where he is!

I was running in the castle's halls with the majesty's bed sheets when I zoned everything out to do a mental checklist.
Food? Check.
Dress? Check.
Meetings? Check.
Horses? Check.
Change the King's flowers? Oh right, that's where I'm going. To get the Queen, drop the bed sheets, and go to his grave. I- *crash*

I flew backwards and the bed sheets went flying and scattered around. Some maids looked but didn't care to help. I grumbled under my breath as I crawled and started picking them up.

"Oh god! I'm so terribly sorry!" Said a kid's voice maybe? I looked up to see a young man wearing what looked like run-down rags as he helped pick the sheets up.

"It's fine, I'm sorry. I should have watched where I was going, I just have too many things on my mind!" I chuckled trying to get him to notice me. Well, okay I don't even know his name and I'm crushing on him.

He finished helping me and said, "Let me help you, going to the queen's chambers?"

"Yes, yes I am. Thank you, and who might you be?" I cocked my head.

"Merlin. I a- was King Arthur's servant." He looked down as a shadow of gloom passed over his face, and my heart sunk.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm Gwen's servant, Morgan." I smiled softly, "It's nice to meet you, Merlin."

"You as well, Morgan." He smiled back with a twinkle in his eye.
