I walked out of the room and tossed the stones to their new owners.

"There you go.  Your power is increased from the stones.  We'll give you the money after the job.  Now we need to do some recon work.  Step into our office."

We all walked into the office where I laid out a blueprint of Stalin's house in the Kuntsevo District of Moscow.

"He'll be most vulnerable in his home.  Most likely in his bedroom or bathroom.  We'll need you, Nikolas to use your shadow to conceal yourself and Ena while you plot out his route.  We'll give you earpieces that will allow us to communicate with ease.  We'll also attach a voice recorder to you that will record everything we say and will most likely record what's said around you."

Miron handed them their earpieces and after they spent a minute figuring out the pieces and they placed them in their ears.

"To use the recorder we'll have to attach it to your chests which means you'll have to take off your shirts for a moment.  We know that it's weird and you guys won't enjoy it but you already agreed to it."

"Blow me then.  Ena, I think we may 'ave cocked up."

"If you want to back out, give me back the stones and you won't get your money."

"I need that money though.  You got us in a tight spot.  We 'ave to go on with your job."

"As expected."

Sokolov got one recorder and I got the other before we attached it to them.  Neither of them looked at either of us during the process.

"You guys are ready to go.  Give us your location with each room change and tell us about any items or people of interest."

"Of course."

They left and Miron spoke shortly after.

"This is an extreme long shot, Motya.  You do know that right?"

"I am fully aware of the risks in the procedures but it will be worth it once Joseph Stalin is defeated."

"As long as you're aware."

"Do you support my plan?  If you don't, now's your last opportunity to leave.  We'll all be in this together after their mission."

"I can't leave you, Motya.  After all, somebody has to watch after you and nobody knowsw you well enough apart from me."

"OI!  Focus, you blokes.  We don't 'ave the time to chat.  We're in the 'ouse so get ready to write down our locations."

Everything went surprisingly efficient until Ena got distracted by a bottle of wine.

"Ya would be more twisted than a Bowsie after gettin off the drink for a donkey's year with only a sip of this.  It is strong."

"Can we drown the sod in the loo when 'e's spending a penny?  Just knock 'is knees in and shove 'is face in and Bob's your uncle!"

"No Nikolas, we can't do that.  It's too suspicious.  It has to look like he died of a natural cause or people will start looking for us."

"Shame.  Ena, 'ide in my shadow, 'e's 'ere."

"Go to work, guys."

They whispered Joseph's routine to us and Miron plotted the locations on the blueprints while I wrote them down.  After several hours, Stalin retired for the night.

"Mark at 23:30, Stalin goes to sleep.  Are we finished 'ere or not?"

"Come back when you want to.  You guys will be doing this again tomorrow and probably for the next week to ensure that he consistently follows that path."

"We got kids, you know.   They need to see us, Motya."

"They have their Aunt Sorcha for the time being.  Besides, if you quit now, you won't get the money and I'll be taking my stones back."

"Ya arse full of shite!  There's no choice ya have given us so we'll be back there in a jiffy."
