7:00 A.M Monday
I wake up to the sound of my alarm on my phone and the smell of coffee. I instantly hop out of bed to silence my phone and run downstairs to go get some coffee. It was the last week of school until summer break and I was excited! This summer was going to be the best summer ever! I make my way to the kitchen and am greeted by my mom who is oddly happy for once this early in the morning. "Morning sweety" She says sounding chirpy. "Hey mom" "Last week of school how ya feeling" "Great!" "Well hurry up and get ready you don't want to be late for the last Monday before summer! Your father and I have some news for the whole family!" Her accent has definitely gone down since we moved out here. Even though it's been 10 years and it obviously would've gone away by now it still doesn't feel right. I still remember being that little girl in the south playing in dirty muddy lakes and drinking sweet tea. Now I'm what most people would consider a basic bitch who drinks to much Starbucks and watches way to much reality tv. I finish my coffee while checking my social media on my rose gold iPhone 6s Plus. Living somewhere with Internet has its benefits I must say. I go upstairs back to my room and get showered. "KELLY DO MY MAKEUP" I hear my little sister Kelsey yell right when I get out of the bathroom. I haven't even left my room and she's bugging me. She was 13 and should know how to do her own makeup but still she makes me do it for her every morning. I use some of my cheap foundation and mascara from target that I don't like anymore and she is typically content with that. I start on my own hair and makeup now. My hair is yellow blonde at the moment only because I went to a new salon that just opened. I wanted platinum but nope, now my hair looks like a French fry for the next 4 weeks. I bust out the blow dryer and go to town on my hair. It's naturally thin straight and strawberry blonde but I dye it and curl it so much it looks wavy and blonde. I haven't seen my real natural hair in 3 years. My little sister Lyla busts into my room right once I start doing my makeup "MY TURN" she yells and starts grabbing tubes of makeup off my dresser. "Get out of my room your getting my room infested with baby germs" I say as I shoo her out of my room. She wasn't necessarily a baby since she was 8 but she was the youngest next to my little brother Caden who was 11. I finally finish getting ready and I head downstairs to the garage and get into my all white Chevy Impala. It was better than driving my moms Tahoe again. My siblings climb into the car. Kelsey sits in the front while case and Lyla sit in the back. The drive to drop them off get some Starbucks and get to school was pretty long. It took around 45 minutes sometimes thirty. The drive out of the cul de sac is the shortest part, only 5 minutes since it was a long street, but after that your on a long narrow road with forests of trees on either side for like 10 minutes until you reach the elementary that Caden and Lyla go to. Next was the middle school. That took another 10 minutes. I finally drop off Kelsey and can get my Starbucks. I go there at least 2 times a week in the morning. They know me by name and they already know my order, Venti cool like refresher blended with two pumps of strawberry sryup. I typically finish it just in time before I have to walk into the school. I go up to my best friends Lora, Emily (we call her Emmy), Jessica, and Kacy (She goes by lacy due to an embarrassing moment in middle school). I typically hang out with them more than I do my varsity cheer squad (Which I'm the captain of). I only hang out with the cheer squad on home game days and other things like spirit rally's and homecoming. "HAAAY" we all say in unison. We always meet by the tree in the front of the school and stay there until the bell rings. We have the same homeroom class so we walk together. We talk about our plans for summer and what we did over the weekend and pointless nonsense that typically ends in gossip about what's happening at school. "I heard that Bryson was talking to that new girl" "Theirs a new girl?" Bryson is my ex boyfriend we broke up a couple weeks ago after 7 months. "Bryson's already talking to other girls?" I ask. I'm over him I shouldn't care, but I feel jealous anyways. "It's ok I'm pretty sure she's ugly AF anyways" Says Emily. It all gets quiet when a girl with chestnut brown shoulder length waves and hazel blue eyes wearing the tackiest black dress I ever seen- But she's actually pulling it off. It's a black skater dress that has a bustier type top. I recognize its from Brandy Melville just by looking at it. She paired it with a pair of knee high dark brown gladiators with a chunky heel. "It's so tacky but it's so cute" Lora whispers as quiet as possible. The girls insanely gorgeous in this weird way. She looks like she otherwise would be extremely ugly but she does it in a way that makes her look like a super model. Kinda like Cara Delevingne except this girl looks like a county singer and has less bushy eyebrows. "That's the new girl" Jessica whispers as the girl walks away. No wonder Bryson is talking to her. DING the first bell of the day rubles and you hear nothing but the sound of footsteps and chatter from other students. "If this new girl thinks she can just take him from you like that she has another thing coming for her" Lora says. Lora is the mean one in the group. She speaks her mind and doesn't really think about what she says. She is extremely beautiful though and people can't help but still like her no mater how mean or rude she is. "What you need to do is go up to him and start chatting him up and make him fall in love with you again before that bimbo can get to him". Lora was right. I had him first and this new girl can't just swoop in and steal him like that. I had to make friends with the enemy so I can take her down easier. "I have a plan" I say and with that we walk to class not mentioning the subject of Bryson or the new girl.Lunch time rolls around finally and we all meet up at our table
