Chapter 2~ Its only the beginning

KYLA'S POV

When Rachel and I entered the auditorium we screamed. We were so excited! We entered the crowd by the stage. It was so packed, we could barely move. After at least 15 minutes Pierce the Veil went onto the stage. There were a lot of people crying, and shoving to get closer. Rachel and I just stayed in the back. If I tried to get closer to the stage someone would accidentally touch my new cuts on my arms. They were still hurting a little.

*Flashback*

9:30 AM

I was getting ready for the Pierce the Veil concert tonight.

"Babe?!" Nick Corben, my boyfriend, yelled.

"Yeah?" I was worried. Whenever he was upset he would get real angry, and he's quite tough. Then I saw my door open. He ran inside my room and got all up in my face.

"How could you?! We've been planning this date for months, and now you're bailing on me just for a concert!" Nick slapped my face, which made me fall back. I was no longer on my feet. I curled up trying to keep myself safe. I tried not to not to cry, but there were tears falling on my cheeks.

"You can't do this to me!" I whined. He was scaring the shit outta me. "We're done!"

"Just leave the best six months that we had, and just throw it away!" Nick yelled back, and landed another slap on my face.

I cried harder as I watched Nick walk out of my house with his hands on his face trying to hide the fact that he was, too, crying.

Once I heard my front door slam shut, I took my blade and cut my wrists. I felt pain going through my body. I stopped crying, because with all the pain in my body I couldnt think of anything else except for that. Then I remembered about the concert as I got used to the hurt. I didnt want to kill myself before the concert, so I set my blade down on the desk.

*End of Flashback*

Before I knew it Pierce the Veil was playing their first song 'Chemical Kids and Mechanical Brides'.

After Pierce the Veil performed 'King for a Day' everyone thought the concert was over.

"I would like my new friend Kyla Peterson to come up on the stage before we pack up." Vic said into the mic. I was shocked and I couldn't move. I looked at Rachel who had a twisted, upset expression on her face. Vic then motioned towards me to come up. Did he really want me to go on the stage? I didnt question him, so I walked up on the stage, and stood next to Vic.

VIC'S POV

I called Kyla up on stage, and I could see the worry in her beautiful brown eyes. I motioned to her to come up. As she walked onto the stage I noticed a bruise on the side of her face. Who has been doing this to her? What did she do to deserve that?

"This here is my new friend Kyla Peterson. I met her and her friend, Rachel Robbin before the concert, and I would love to sing 'Hold on Till May' with her. What do you guys think?" I said into the mic right as she stood next to me. The fans screamed, and cheered as I looked at Kyla. She looked scared.

"Vic, I dont know about this." She whispered in my ear. I looked at her again. This time I put my arm around her.

"You'll be ok." I whispered into her ear, and kissed her on the cheek. She started blushing, and just nodded. Then the music started.
