Chapter 3~ Darling You'll Be Okay

KYLA'S POV

"I got to go talk to the band for a little bit. Be right back." Vic said once we were backstage. Then I watched him walk to where the rest of the band was.

Then I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I took it out of my pocket, and checked to see who it was, and read the text.

Rachel: I'm coming backstage. We need to talk.

Then I glanced at the security guards, and saw that they were talking to Rachel. She looked at me, and pointed. The security guards turned around to look at me, and let her in.

"Kyla Marie Peterson!" Rachel said, walking over to me. She looked quite mad. What did I do? I swear to god, she must have been talking to my mom a lot lately since she called me by my full name. "I cant believe you!"

"What?" I asked confused. "I just wanted to have fun with the guys. Is that a problem?"

"Yes. I thought we were best friends... If you were a real best friend then you would of asked Vic if I could come up!" Rachel sounded furious now.

VIC'S POV

"Hey," I said to to the guys. "What are you talking about?" It looked like nobody wanted to answer.

"Kyla..." Mike answered.

"Oh. What about her?" I asked. I was hoping they didnt know that I really liked her. If they did I know Mike would so something to make me embarrassed in front of Kyla.

"We were wondering if you wanted to ask her to go touring with us, so she could sing 'Hold on till May' with you." Tony said. "I mean, she's an awesome singer, and we've been looking for someone to sing Lindsey's part since she couldnt go touring with us."

"Plus, it looks like you two are in love!" Mike said with a wink. Oh dear god. Not this again.

"Mike, shut up!" I yellef, and slapped Mike on the arm. Tony, and Mike just laughed, but Jaime just stood there. Was he ok?

"C'mon bro. I promise I will not embarrass you in front of Kyla. I agree she is pretty, but she's not my type." Mike said, giggling.

"Um... Thanks?" I giggled, and looked at Jaime again. "Jaime, you okay?"

"Uh, yeah. I-It's nothing. Now I think you should go talk to... Um... Kyla before she leaves." Jaime said with a sad expression on his face.

"Um... Ok." I said still wanting to know why Jaime was so upset. I started to walk to Kyla. I have to say I am very nervous.

KYLA'S POV

Rachel was scaring me a little. Why was she so upset over this? Was she just jealous? The whole time I was with her at school when we were younger she always acted like she had to have everything. Maybe she was just upset that I got to have this one moment that may never happen again, and she didnt.

"Rachel, calm down! It was just one duet. You dont have to get all upset!" I told her, but I saw her clench her fists, and knew she was pissed.

"You know how much I was looking forward to this concert." Rachel whisper-yelled, so no one could hear her. "Now its ruined, because I saw you have the best time of your life on stage while I was in the crowd being pushed, and shoved, so I could get closer to the stage. Unlike earlier when I couldnt get closer because you were too chicken to go into the crowd."

I hadnt told her about my cuts, because she thought it was stupid when someone cut.

"But-" I was cut off when I felt a fist hit my nose. I noticed I was on the floor. Rachel then kicked my stomache twice which made me moan. When I saw people rushing towards me I tried to get up once I saw blood on the floor. I then looked at my leg. It was also covered in blood. Then I felt faint, so I put my head back down. Everything was getting blurry, so I closed my eyes. I suddenly heard Vic's voice call for me, but it was too late to see him. I was already passed out.

Loving it so far? c: took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do for this scene... Sorry if the sentences are too long, I just wanted Rachel to finally explain everything, and have Kyla explain what happened in the past. (: hope y'allz lovin it!
