Chapter 14~ The Secret

JAIME'S POV

It's been two days since I've heard Kyla was getting out of the hospital. They were letting her rest for a while, but I really wanted to see her again. The doctors told me they would call me once they were done with the tests. Tony, and I were playing Mario Kart on our Wii, and Skylar sat next to Tony snuggled up against him with red puffy eyes. I could tell she was crying because, well, Kyla was her best friend and she obviously missed her. Tony was helping me get my mind off of Kyla. It didnt help though. Nothing did.

"Jaime, are you okay?" Tony asked. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didnt recognize that our game was paused.

"Uh.." I didnt know what to tell him. I've told him a million times before, but he kept asking if I was okay everyday ever since Kyla went to the hospital. "Yeah. Dont worry about it, Tone. I swear I'm fine." Tony looked at me suspiciously. He shrugged, and we went back to our game.

VIC'S POV

Lately it's been hard to think about anything else. I loved Kyla. The thought of Jaime getting her all to himself broke my heart. I needed her. I was lying in my bunk until the curtain opened, and saw Mike standing outside my bunk.

"Dude, are you okay?" He asked. "You seem a little down." I needed to tell him I loved Kyla. Maybe he could help me out.

"Sort of." I said. I sat up, and Mike sat next to me. He looked at me with a curious look, and I came out with it. "I love Kyla." Mike stood there was wide eyes.

"Oh." Was all Mike said.

"Yeah, but she's with Jaime. My best friend. I dont know what to do." I explained, and he nodded.

"Well, maybe you can tell her you love her."

"I guess you're right." I said. "Tell the guys that I will be writing some more music soon, so I will be gone." Mike nodded, and left my bunk. I figured I would just lay here for a couple more minutes, then go make some music.

JAIME'S POV

Tony, and I were still playing Mario Kart, and so far he was beating me. A few seconds later I saw Tony's character cross the finish line, and I knew we were done.

"Shit!" I yelled, and went up to the Wii. I took the game out of the Wii machine, and put it in its place.

"Hey! What the hell are you doing?!" Tony yelled, and I saw Skylar giggling next to Tony. I've always liked to entertain her, and Kyla... Shit... I need to get her out of my mind for now.

"That was so unfair!"

"No it wasnt!"

"Yes it was. You cheated!"

"What?! No I didnt!"

"Yes you did. You obviously knew there were short cuts, and you never bothered to tell me." Tony just looked at me, and gave me a apologetic smile. "Thats what I thought." Soon I heard my cell phone play 'Sleepwalking' by Bring Me The Horizon. I quickly took it out, and pressed the answer button.

"Hello?" I said into the reciever.

"Hi, Kyla is ready to come home." A female voice said, and a big smile spread across my face.

"Thank you." I aaid, and hung up. Tony, and Skylar looked at me with curious looks. "Kyla's ready to come home." Skylar, and Tony quickly got up, and we ran to the door. We put on our shoes, raced to the car, and turned on the engine. The whole drive there it was silent, so I played 'You're Not Alone' by Of Mice & Men. It was such an awesome song, and I loved it. Soon enough we arrived at the hospital, and walked inside.

"Kyla Peterson, please." I told the female at the desk, and she lead us to the lobby. We sat in the confortable chairs, and waited for Kyla. Ten minutes later Kyla came into the lobby using creches. Then a doctor came out from behind her, and came over to me.

"So, when Kyla blacked out, I guess she fell to the floor, and sprained her foot. She can take the boot off in three days." The doctor explained, and I nodded. Then she walked back into the hall, and disappeared. I looked at Kyla, and we both smiled. I walked over to her, and gave her a hug. I let go of her, and Skylar, and Tony came over to her. They both gave her a hug, and Mike put his arm over my shoulder.

"This guy obviously was thinking of you the whole time you were gone." Mike told Kyla, and she looked at me smiling. I started blushing, and smiled more.

"Are you ready to go home?" Skylar asked. Kyla just nodded, and we helped her out of the room.

Once we arrived at our tour bus Skylar, and Ky plopped down on the couch. I sat next to her, and kissed her cheek. She turned to look at me, and smiled once more.

KYLA'S POV

"Are you feeling okay, baby?" Jaime asked. Damn, I missed my cute boyfriend.

"I guess." I said, and snuggled up against his warm chest.

"Can you tell me what happened?" He asked. I didnt feel quite ready to tell him I was nearly raped. I needed him to take some time to get used to me getting hurt the other night.

"I-I don't remember." I lied. I was also scared to tell him. Instead I quickly ran over to him, and hugged him tightly. He was shocked at first but then hugged back. After a minute he let go, and looked at me in the eyes.

"Are you sure you dont remember?" He said knowing I lied to him.

"I'm sure." Lied again. Sometimes I swear I'm the worst girlfriend ever.

"Okay, but, uh... We need to talk about your cutting obsession." He said, and I saw his eyes start watering. I hated it when people started crying because then I do the same thing. I hated that about myself. I ran over to him, and hugged him once more. I started crying, and made tear stains on Jaime's shirt.

"I'm s-soo sorry, Jaime." I apologized still crying. Jaime let me go, and kissed my forehead.

"We'll talk about this later, but first you need some sleep." Jaime said, and I nodded. He picked me up bridal style, and lied me down in his bunk. Soon I drifted off to sleep with Jaime next to me.

Sorry its so short, but I promise the next chapter will be longer (: ... I will try to update every Monday since I haven't been updating lately. I've been busy making other books, and doing homework. Do you think Vic is moving on or still going after Kyla? Found out in the next chapter (: hehe
