He Really Did

--

A smile seemed to have invaded Lovino's face. If it was on Antonio, the Italian would have described it as 'stupidly childish', however the smile he currently has is that of a victor's. He felt that he earned ten solid points from his and Bella's date. After all, she did say "I had fun, Lovino! I hope we could go out more often!"

Lovino felt like he won a lottery, only that the price is the woman he have been longing for so long. And with that, the Italian decided to approach Antonio and boast everything on his face, even though the both of them clearly knew that the latter was there, that he was the one who served their food.

He happily hopped inside the classroom, humming some Italian song and sat next to Antonio, on his right since since the student originally seated there is still nowhere to be found, and is known of his tardiness. Antonio didn't notice his presence as he was copying notes from his classmate.

"Hey there, bastard. Good day isn't it?"

"Huh? Oh hello, Lovi." he said as he turned his head to look at the other, then glacing down at his notes and proceeds to writing once again.

"I have to say, the Gazpacho was really delicious. The taste of the tomato is rich. And I like it."

"You like tomatoes?" he still focused on his notes.

"Whatever, if that's what you call it. Anyway--"

"You look so happy with Bella."

What was with his serious tone and thick Spanish accent? This surprised Lovino a bit and caused one of his eyebrows to raise. He glued his eyes on Antonio for a while before speaking.

"Hah! Of course I am! How about that, huh? I bet you're thinking of something to do for her too!"

"Sí, I am! Wow, are you a psychic, Lovi?!" his usual cheery tone came back.

"...It's called common sense, dickhead.."

Antonio pouted and threw a determined face to the other, but not a serious one.

"I'm not going to lose to you!"

"We'll see about that! I'm the one who's going to be laughing at your sorry face!"

"Don't underestimate me! You still don't know what I'm capable of, amigo~"

"I told you, I am not your freaking friend!"

Antonio just chuckled at that. "Anyway, could you help me with something?"

"And why the hell should I do that?"

"Because you're sitting next to me and I have no one to ask. You're just going to read something to me."

"Sure, whatever. Give it to me."

Antonio did what he was told and pointed at the part where we couldn't properly read. Lovino was puzzled even more; the penmanship wasn't bad and its completely readable. Why can't Antonio read something so clear?

"Given set A, the power set of A, denoted by P(A) is the set of all subjects of A or P(A)=2 raised to n, where n is the number of elements in set A." Lovino stated slowly, enough for Antonio to jot the words down without difficulty.

"Gracias!" Antonio replied when the Italian gave the notebook back to him. As soon as he did, Lovino asked him, his tone creating a concern.

"What's wrong with your eyes? Why can't you see a single thing?"
