Oh no
--
'I'm in love with him.'
A few days-- weeks passed, and neither did Lovino and Antonio exchange words with each other. During classes, Lovino would "involuntarily" stare at Antonio, and when the Spaniard feels something burning his back, he would glance back "accidentally" at the Italian, and the latter would scoff and look away; anywhere but Antonio.
And then both frown at that.
Ever since the incident, Lovino never talked, approached, or even tried to talk through eye contact to Bella. And so did she. Things just got more and more complicated for the three of them, the atmosphere getting heavier more than the clouds carrying rain.
Not for Antonio though, a stubborn man. He kept being blunt as much as possible regarding his apology, but the Belgian would just brush him off and never say anything. Sometimes, he even leave notes under her desk asking for forgiveness and Bella, acting all cold and insensitive, would just ignore and put it back to where she found it, unamused.
Antonio as well.

"Bella... I'm glad you finally decided to talk to me, after all those days, weeks even. A month, should I say."
Sunday, 5:00 PM, at a simple café in Madrid did the two meet. Bella has a soft heart, and she felt that Antonio is undoubtly sincere with his apology, so when he asked her out to talk, she accepted. Of course she had a hard time accepting, but she followed her heart in the end.
They were both covered up in scarves, boots and something else to keep them warm. It's October after all, and the chilly wind warning people of Christmas season has been hitting the country more than it should. Talk about the weather being sunny the past few months in which the people complain about, but now the tables have turned for Spain when it hit the -ber months.
"So," she replied, placing her hands on the cup of coffee to keep her hands warm. "What is it you exactly wanted to say?"
Antonio did the same, but after taking a sip. "I know I've said this in my notes, but I want to apologize. Apologize for lying to you, about the National Library..."
"It honestly took me a while to accept that, but I forgive you."
Antonio flashed his perfectly white teeth to her. He knew Bella never lies, and he knows when someone is. Ironic as it sounds, he hated liars.
Bella let out a chuckle. "Wow. It's been quite a while since I saw that beautiful smile of yours."
He blushed, both due to the chilly weather and to what she said. He simply thanked her. However, there was still something bothering Bella's mind.
"And Antonio... You said something that I can't get out of my mind for some reason."
"¿Que?"
"...About you liking Lovino."
That crushed his innocent facąde. It never crossed his mind that Bella would get so worked up about that part. But thinking about it, it is quite disturbing, especially if the male you apparently like is also your rival to win this girl's heart.
"Umm... Antonio... A-Actually..." the girl rubbed her thumbs against the cup, looking down at the untouched coffee while cheeks being dusted by pink sparkles.
"...I'm starting to like you."
Oh no.
