After being locked away in the cupboard for longer than 2 hours, he was released. Not released as in 'you're free to go' ... no, it wasn't that easy. He was picked up by his roots and thrown out. But he couldn't take it anymore, so he fought back. Eventually, he ended up pushing his mother against the wall, banging her head on the floor and locking her in the cupboard. He did the right thing, maybe.
