Clarke was grunting, attempting to yell, fight, do anything though it seemed absolutely illogical since she had cloth stuffed down her throat.
Clarke had a bag over her head, barely able to see through. Only small flashes of blinding lights which could've been flashlights.
She knew that currently she was propped on a ledge of a moving tank, this Emerson man holding her firmly.Think Clarke, THINK! Clarke thought to herself.
All of a sudden, the tank came to an abrupt stop,
As did Clarke's heart as she was violently shoved to her knees.Pain shot through her body as her face was once again shoved to the dirt floor.
"HALT!" She heard the harsh commanding words of another soldier.
"Who's that?!" She heard the voice say.
"Spy, picked her along the trailer."
"You know She's not gonna be very happy about this, you should've killed her."
"We can get some info damnit, and I'm gonna get it." Emerson snapped.
Clarke heard no other reply from the other assumed man, but suddenly her bag was ripped from her head.
Light blinded Clarke's vision momentarily, before she was able to get some grip on her surroundings.
Clarke was still outdoors, but was however on the outside of a large metal wall. Light beaned in her face, making it impossible to see clearly.
Men stood around the perimeter of the gate, holding, shall we say, VERY large toys.Clarke shuddered as she felt the lips of Emerson whisper in her ear.
"By the time were done with you, you'll Wish I would've killed you."
Clarke cocked her head at Emerson's smirking face.
With one brave action, Clarke spat directly in Emerson's face.Emerson bolted back, wiping the saliva from his face.
Clarke was kicked down immediately by several guards, until Emerson raised his hand, an order to stop.
Clarke still struggled under the restraints, unsure of how she would get out anyway.
"Save your energy princess." Emerson lifted her up by the collar.
He threw Clarke down, walking away."Your gonna need it."
* * * LEXAS POV * * *
"LEXA COME BACK!" Lexa heard Octavia scream.
Lexa marched forward, following the tire tracks in the dirt."LEXA!" Octavia graves Lexa's shoulder ripping her back.
Lexa gave Octavia a glare, if looks could kill, Octavia would be man slaughtered.
"WE HAVE A MISSION AND NOT A LOT OF DAYLIGHT LEFT!"
"WE need to get Clarke!" Lexa yelled.
She saw the exchanging of glances between her soldiers. Balling her hands in a fist and composing herself."We. NEED to get. Clarke."
Octavia crossed her arms and exhaled.
"Lexa we will save Clarke, but everyone here doesn't see that as a priority.""ARE YOU SAYING CLARKE IS NOT A-"
Lexa stopped clenching her jaw shut and staring Octavia directly in the eye."Fine." Lexa scoffed, "Leave your squad men behind, let's go on with the mission."
Lexa started to storm away, when she heard Octavia speak once more.
"Lexa, we know your upset and sorry, but now is not the time to get emotional."
Lexa halted, speeding around before Octavia could react.Socking her in the jaw, Lexa then kicked her gut, sending Octavia to the ground.
"THATS EMOTIONAL!" Lexa spat.
Her squad looked nervously around.
"Would anyone else like to question my authority?" Lexa growled darting her eyes from soldier to soldier. She was only met by the silence of her men, and them awkwardly looking at the ground.
Indra suddenly stepped forward.
Lexa shot her a look, but Indra raised her hands in surrender."Commander if I may," Indra continued, "We do need to continue the mission, even if Clarke is of great importance, we can stall the explosion just enough for a group to get Clarke out, would that suffice?"
Lexa appreciated Indra calming Lexa's nerve by communicating.
Lexa shook her head in agreement slowly.
"We'll send-" Indra began but Lexa cut her off.
"I'll go."
"Commander-"
"I'll go alone, we need the bodies for the mission, and the camp, Clarke is my prior-" Lexa stopped herself, pausing before filling the large lump in her throat.
"I need to Rescue Griffin, she is a necessity in the camp."
Indra sighed, but saluted.
Lexa reached down and grabbed her supply pack and weapons, starting to walk away, she froze and turned to Indra.
"If I do not return within two hours, blow it, If my absence will bring fault to the mission, blow it is that understood?"
Lexa saw Indra hesitate, only to salute a firmly turn away to gather the soldiers.
Lexa turned back toward the outlined truck tire path.
She took in a shaky breath with each step, flashing memories of her fellow soldiers and comrades being blown to bits directly in front of her, the sound of gunfire, the smell of overpowering smoke filling her nose-
Stop Lex!
She felt as if she verbally shouted.
Clarke is fine. Clarke is safe. They will not touch her.
Lexa furrowed her eyebrows, conflicting emotions inside of her.
Clarke is fine. Clarke is safe.
They will not touch her.
