So here is a sneak peek of the novel for this book. It isn't about Ethan and Madeline, although it does have them in it. It is the story of Travis Burmingham and Lisa Myers. Here is a sneak peek! (It's the prologue) Enjoy!

Travis's POV

Travis knew that deciding to go to college in Oklahoma would be different, but that was just what he needed.
Different.
A break.
College…
He had only just turned 17 in June and it was now September.
He couldn’t believe that he had graduated early…something that he could now check off of his want to do list.
As soon as he pulled up in his brand new Dodge truck that Ethan and Madeline had bought him as a college gift, he noticed something..
If he wanted different, he sure got it.
There wasn’t 1 truck there that wasn’t a Ford pickup.
He didn’t know why he didn’t think that…He was in Oklahoma for crying out loud.
“Oh Lord Jesus, I trust you, but I might need some help.”
He parked his truck, opened the door, and stood to admire the university.
He couldn’t believe where he was standing.
He could feel it.
College life…
Living in a dorm…
All of it’s many wonders…
“Hey!” A feminine voice from behind him broke his train of thought and made him flinch.
He turned around to see the most beautiful girl he had seen in his life.
“H-hi.” He stuttered.
Travis gulped.
Lord, please don’t let me embarrass myself. Not in front of this beautiful piece of art of Yours. Wow…
Travis sent up the silent prayer as he reached his hand forward.
“Hi, I’m Travis.” He said calmly, while on the inside, he was a nervous wreck.
“Well, hey there Travis.” Her deep, southern accent broke through. “It’s nice to meet ‘cha.”
He smiled at her charmingly.
He noticed her flushed cheeks after he smiled.
Check! He said mentally.
“It’s nice meeting you too…” He paused, gently edging for a name.
“Lisa. Lisa Myers. But you can just call me Lisa. Or L. If you wanna. Oh. Sorry, I’ve been told I ramble too much. I’m sorry. I don’t mean to, it just comes nat’rally to me. Ugh! There I go again. Sorry. Shutting up now.”
Travis smiled and raised his eyebrows.
“Well, I don’t know who told you it was annoying, darlin’, ‘cause I think it’s plumb adorable.” Travis said.
Lisa bit down on her bottom lip. “Tha-Thank you. You know what, Travis?” She asked planting her hands on her hips.
“What?” Travis asked, mocking her motions and throwing his hands on his hips as well.
She playfully slapped his muscular bicep.
“I have a feeling that we’re going to be good friends.” She said smiling.
While on the inside screaming “I sure hope so” He just looked at her, smiled and played it ‘safe’.
“We’ll see…”
