Sometimes we forget the purpose of writing. Well, I have found there are several purposes.
The most important one is to write for yourself. Write to get the ideas of your mind no matter how wacky, creative or serious they are. They are there to be loved and shared by whom ever you want.
I know that every writer doubts their work. It's natural as we're not an arrogant specimen! But thing I have found is, it's okay to be proud of your work. It's okay to wonder if people are loving it as much as you are but it's not okay to think in the derogatory term that 'it's shit'.
Be proud that you can write because it's actually quite an uncommon talent!
Be proud of your work because it is yours no matter how popular it is.
At the end of the chapter, write for you if no one else.
