Will

I can feel the dissapointment in my brother's body. When he saw Sammy fall into a fire pit, his whole life just turned around. His demeanour also changed dramatically. He now drinks scocth non-stop. Since it doesn't effect vampires, he never gets drunk, which makes him not forget everything, which pisses him off even more. I can't stop him, I've tried and all he has been is a dick. We were close to Sammy spiritually and physically. She'd annoy me when she could read my mind, and sometimes control me just by a stare. I've always told her that her powers could make her a Siren, but she doubts it fully. The last Siren was her grandmother, who put some spell on her human mother to give Sammy her powers. I told Sammy, but she never listened with her stubborn ass. And now she is gone.

I walk towards the kitchen and pull out the cream cheese decoy covering the bottle of blood. I walked over to Jordon who was slumped into the couch. "How about you drink something that actually helps you?"

"Yeah, how bout you fuck off?" He retorted.

"Sammy doesn't deserve your drunken pity..." I mumbled, knowing that he will hear me.

"And I don't need you on my case right now!" He shouted.

He's taking this thing too hard. I walked up to him and punched him in the face," You really shouldn't talk to me like that. And I swear if you weren't my brother I would kick your ass." I turned around and herd him whisper, "Why hold back?"

Before I could turn around he tackled me to the ground. As he turned me around, he started punching me, so being the big brother I am, I kicked him off me. And when a vampire kicks, its a hard blow. He went flying and hit the stair railing, breaking it off. He stood up and stalked over to me while I stood and punched him again in the stomach, making him crunch down. I kneed his head and made him flying into the kitchen, hitting his back on the fridge.

"You're a pathetic fool." I spat at him. He didn't get up, he sat on the floor. I heard on knock on the door and turned my attention away from my crumbling brother. His looks miserable and pathetice. Sammy would never like sympathy, it's just not her thing. I rand my fingers through my hair to make it a bt better. It got jacked up during that fight. I opened the door and my breathe caught... If I could breathe.

"Hey Will." She said smiling. I cannot believe how much I have missed that smile on her face. I immediately grabbed her into a hug and held tight, never wanting her to die again.

"How did this happen, how are you here?" I babbled speechless.

"That's why we came!" She said pointing out Ben and Clair behind her. I hadn't even realized them until now. I just couldn't believe she was alive. "So," She asked looking at the gap in the stair railing, "where's Jordon?" She asked.

Before I answererd, Jordon decided to speak up, "Nice try Will, impersonating Sammy won't make anything better." He rubbed his eyes and stared straight. He looked as shocked as I was. He quick ran and embrassed Sammy so hard, I couldn't even think she could breathe. I looked up from them and noticed a smiling Clair, but a tense Ben. I loved watching Ben do that when Sammy and Jordon had an intamate moment.

"H-how...W-why. What?" Jordon stubled on his words.

"I'm alive! Ta-da" Sammy said with jazz hands. Jordon just smiled and Sammy hugged him again. Love was in the air, and I was too happy to feel the tense breeze coming from Ben. He just sat down in one of the single chairs with his chin on his palms.

"Sorry to interrupt this wonderful moment," Ben interupted, "But we have a bigger problem on our hands. We have no idea who that witch lady was, or if she is in any way connected with Fredrick." I scratched the back of my neck. What would that bastard do to get Sammy.

"We know that he doesn't want to kill Sammy, since the fire thing didn't kill her." Clair replied gesturing to Sammy.

We sat there thinking about the motives, why would Fredrick go to such hieghts to grab Sam's attention?

We have his Motive: Get Sammy to open the other sides. That's all I got.

"That's not his only motive Will." She said. I looked up at her and finally realized that her clothes were torn. Her dress had burnt whole in them, one of the straps were torn, and black coal covered the green fabric. "How many time have I told you, it isn't nice to read people's minds."

She ignored my question, "The only reason he wants to open the other side is because his deceased lover is dead," she paused so we could take it in, "During the time he wanted his own pack, I read his thoughts, his dreams, his moments, the things that gave me an answer why. He wanted a pack to suprise his lover, but she was dead. I suppose he found a way but, he needs a Siren. Without one, no one can open it. That is the reason my grandmother shut the gates to the other side, so people like him won't get in."

We looked at her in surprised.

"Wow, I knew Fred had a heart, but I never knew he used it." Clair said.

"So what's the next step?" Ben asked, anyone. The question wasn't meant for a specific person. We all looked at Sammy, who sighed in an answer. "I guess we have to start from the beginning."

"The fire place?" Clair asked.

"No, the little cottage place that I ended up," We looked at Sammy, "When I fell, I teleported. I was sent to a coffin until I woke up and pushed it off. The place was dim, but the coffin said 'Francesca Moltovi', his lover's name. But the thing is, you can't selectivley choose who to take from the gates of the other side, you open them and their open. So not only does he want to controll the world, but he has something that can bring her back, a cure. The cure."

Clair gasped, "But the cure is just a myth, right?"

"Hold on, " Ben said, waving his hands, "What's The Cure?"

"It's a vile of green liquid that can do any supernatural thing with and spell. From bringing back lives to changing immortal to mortal."I said, and Clair's face lit up. "It can do that?" She asked. I know how hard it is to be a vampire, but I didn't know it was so bad for Clair. I nodded, answering her question.

"And I know the spell to change someone, it could work for you Clair." Sammy said. Clair's face brightened at her suden hapiness.

"But let's get this, saving the world thing done and actually fiding the cure before we learn what to do with it. We have a family, and innocent people to save, than one person's moral life." Ben said. Clair shook her head.

"Well,  let's go." Jordon said clapping his hands and getting up from the couch.

"Wait!" Sammy shouted. We all looked at her while she just stood there. She made faces making as if we should know what she's thinking, but, to our silence, we didn't know. She grunted, "I am not  go anywhere with this burned and torn dress." She said walking past Ben and out the door to our house.

Been a while, just came back from a continental trip and had some school work to take care of. So I hope you like this chapter as much as I loved thinking it out.
