The officers walked Tyler around the corner, into the room of cells. As they walked, they passed creatures of mysterious kinds. He looked around, and in one cell he saw light. He looked inside and saw...him.
No! It can't be. Josh...? He grabbed the bars to try and set him free, but the moment he grabbed the bars, he was locked into his own, dark cell. The room become silent after the slam of a door. He sat on the bed of the small room and thought.
These are the rooms that loved ones get locked into. Just because everyone's weapons are taken away the second the enter, that doesn't mean our crazy thoughts are checked at the door too. For all you could know, the people neighboring you could be psychopaths, murders, anything! God, how did I get here?! Tyler sat and stared at his sketches on the wall. They were of them.
I could've sworn it was Blurry, Tyler thought. It felt like hours he had sat there, but he knew he'd be there forever. After a while of sitting, he heard his cell door open. Tyler looked and saw him again.
Josh! Wait! Josh was on some parade float type thing, playing his drums. Tyler got up and followed him quietly, for if anyone heard him, they'd throw him back into his cell. He walked down a small hallway in the prison, and as he walked, the light flickered and he saw Josh on his drums again.
I swear it's not a vision, he's right there, but how?! Tyler turned and walked down another hall way and sure enough, there he was again. As he walked, Tyler couldn't stop thinking about what he had heard as he first walked into the prison.
"Newcomers are weird. They smell funky, like the outside," Tyler heard from one of things there. "We don't deal with outsiders very well, they known too many things once they get out." Humph,Tyler thought, All these creatures are weird, not to mention they have trust issues with every one who comes in. "He's in here just to tell this outside world what's in here after he leaves." Something else had said. You don't know what I've been through, I actually do belong in this crazy house.
Tyler shuddered at the words that were spoken to him.
They all think I have special intentions here. Ha! Not really at least, not to spy on this unspoken of place, I'm only here so that they can keep me locked up forever for the crimes I've done.
After turning down a final hallway, Tyler come into this big room that pretty much looked like a giant basement. There again, Tyler saw Josh, but this time he was on a stage. He saw his microphone and guitar waiting for I him. Tyler was extremely exited to see everything he once loved, music and preforming. He got up on to the stage thing and he saw that he was in a yellow suit jacket. Tyler sang like there was no tomorrow, probably because there wasn't. He wasn't even sure what he sang, but somehow Josh knew the beat to it. After a minute of singing or so he heard people from down the hall. For a second, Tyler panicked, if he was caught then he'd be back in his sad, stone cell. He froze momentarily, and then saw all the human prisoners coming in. For a little while, Tyler felt happy. He remembered the times when there were fans that cared about him. He looked back at Josh and saw that he didn't have his usual concert make-up and everything, and that he also had different extra tattoos that he never had before.
People change after a while, remember that. He told himself, and shrugged it off. Tyler and Josh stood there and preformed like it was a normal concert. Everyone was jumping around, just like every other concert they ever held. Again though, for a second he was again confused, but didn't say anything.
Why are you back Josh? Why'd you come? I told you to stay away from me, I'm a nutcase! But I think your stuck here now, because I don't know how you got here, but I'm definitely not helping you get out of here. Every guard is out side of this room, maybe waiting for one of us, the escape or the break in. It seems your stuck here now. It looks like you up might be one of us.
Tyler quickly shook himself from his thoughts to look at Josh, but once he turned and heard sirens. He blinked and saw he was sat in the same prison basement he was just in with Josh, but it was empty. No prisoners, no stage, no yellow suit jacket....no Josh. All there was were multiple armed security men, aiming their guns at him and holding up shields incase he were to jump or shoot at them. Tyler sat and realized it was just visions, Josh was never there, and he had escaped his cell for nothing. I'm crazy! Every one here now knows that too!
And in that moment Tyler realized, he lost his old life the second he went after Blurry. He lost his fanbase, his wife...and his best friend."He was there though" Tyler whispered in a small, timid voice.
