Rejected Mate

Workouts,dates,and fists.

You know it is quite hard being a female leader of a gang of wolves. There are always those that feel as if women can not truly fulfill the role. Well....... to each one of those that challenged my position, lets just say that they will not be discussing my requests, workouts, or position anymore. I have worked hard to get where I am now, so when that so called man decided to challenge me during out workout battles well who am I to refuse such a request. 

Earlier during workout:

As I had them all lined up in front of me, I divided them into 6 groups based on their strengths. To my amazement some of the members in Group 5 ,which was the second strongest group, held many youngsters. I was trying to help every member to my fullest ability. As we were closing into our workout I did my routine of having volunteer wrestling battles. It was all fun and games until he decided to talk. 

" Well Alex are you planning on standing there surrounded by your possy like the little girl you are, or are you going to show us your itty bitty moves," Matthew mocked. I am never one to back down or be mocked about. "Of course, but since you have decided to mock me, how about you and I battle. How about it babe, you prepared to feel some pain from this little girl," I replied. 

To make it interesting Emmett decided to have bets place. The majority of the bets placed to lose were on me. Ouch, that kinda hurt but that made me only more upset. I then of course felt the need to prove myself. 

 He and I were both moved toward the circle, he then proceeded to try and come around me from the left so I quickly turned right and came up behind him and jumped him by placing my arms around his chest area and my legs also wrapped around him. Thus in turn dropped him to fall on top of me. After struggling he stopped fidgeting, but I did not let go. It got quite boring so I decided to let him go and fight him. I wanted to show him who was the real boss. So I let him get up and he quickly threw a punch hitting my stomach he then tried it again yelling at me to fight him like a man. So I decided to do as he said but as a woman. I quickly came up with a plan and came at him from the left with a kick punch throwing him off guard. I then took the time to punch him from the chin and up. Then proceeding to throw a punch to the left side of the stomach and the right. he eventually fell down. I slowly walked back to my group without turning my back at him. 

"How's that for itty bitty,"I said calmly but confidently.

After our workout was done, some went to cook and other went to shower. Boy was I glad to finally have everyone showered you can not believe how bad it smelled. While I was eating with my pack, Egon, Emmett, and I were the last ones to finish eating. We were just discussing the some pack duties and chores, when I received a message from Emmett. 

EMME: Hey, do you think we could maybe go out tonight? Maybe you can give me a tour of your town?

ALEX: Yeah, sure. Wear comfortable clothes. Is 8 okay?

EMME: Its perfect!

Inside I was freaking out but on the outside I tried my best to keep my cool. After dinner I went to my room and tried my best to find an outfit. My wolf was not as excited as I was, she kept going on and on about how he was not our mate. Apparently I should not be allowed to feel another way towards someone else. I did my best to shut her out I decided to ignore her and call my best friend to the room and asked for her help. Hours later we finally decided on an outfit with a bare no-make face.

The time had came, it was 8 he had already texted me asking if I was ready. We meet in front of our house and we took his truck, but of course I drove. I decided to take him around the town telling him what the buildings were and once we were done I took him to the other side of town and took him to the park. Thankfully the soccer game had just started so we walked to the elote man and we bought our snacks. He bought nachos with a soda and I got tostilocos with a water. we sat down and talked and watch the game once the game was done we walked around the park.

"I have an idea, lets wrestle! Loser buys tacos," I suggested. "Alright but winner also gets another prize," he replied. I proceed to ask him what the prize was he became shy and looked down. After some seconds he said "a kiss". 

MAN, WAS I THANKFUL THAT IT WAS NIGHT AND HE COULDN'T SEE ME BLUSH. I WAS AS RED AS THE STOP SIGN. I could feel the warmth grow and take over my face, my hands became quite sweaty but I did my best to tell him okay. I wanted tacos so bad and i did not have any cash on me so I needed to win and well I suppose a kiss wouldn't be bad.

So we position ourselves and I did not hesitate to make a move. I lashed at his stomach and then his side and lastly got his back. He came at me by grabbing my legs and throwing me down. Then he wrapped his arms around my waist and he fell back on a rock and I took the opportunity to get up and hit my arm on his stomach. I though we were done fight I mean clearly I had won, right. Wrong, he jumped up and TICKLED ME. I punch his chest and ran he proceeded to chase me around the play area. I did the money bars with him behind me I then ran to the slide and went down right as he tried to reach me. I then went to the swings and yelled " Push me Emme, I want to go as high as the birds, oh give me the freedom they have everyday!"He laughed of course and came behind me and pushed me telling me I was such a little girl. Once I was satisfied with my height I jumped off, he used his speed to run around and catch me. 

"I'm hungry Emme, it's Taco time!"

"Alright, little girl lets go but wait" he said.

I then took all the courage I had to kiss him. I did not hold back and he didn't either.

Hey Love Bugs, I am truly sorry that I have been distant. I apologize but I will be writing frequently. I will be uploading two chapter of this story and one of my other story 'With love comes heartbreak', (that you guys should check out if you guys have not) every week.

Remember you guys have at least 10 seconds of courage everyday so do something with it.  Take a deep breath and do it. Kiss the guy, or finally talk to him. Say hi to the girl you have been thinking of. Just do it, think positive. Live, love, and don't forget to laugh.
