An incredibly powerful word
That leaves a heart fluttering,
Like the delicate wings of a bird.
While your mind is cluttering,
Your body is shuttering.
An unconditional affection
With no limitations.
As if it’s perfection,
A rollar coaster full of new sensations.
You want nothing more,
Then for them to be happy.
To make them feel like they can soar.
Even when they’re so far away,
You’re thinking of them.
Nothing can keep you at bay,
For they’re as precious as a gem.
Intense and passionate.
Everything seems brighter and wonderful.
Sacrificial and compassionate.
These moments are unforgettable.
If you find it,
Don’t let it disappear.
A love this big
Is like a home run hit.
If not caught,
It’ll never be clear.
It’ll be left as a thought,
A dream that may never come true.
