"jack, its been ages since I have come to your house! I wish I had more time to visit..."

"true... We have no free time dammit!"

"well... Let's enjoy this while we can... Okay? And plus I might have to stay a while, there is a LOT to explain"

"alright then... Can I ask a question first?"

"sure? What's up?"

"Uhh... I uh...umm... Fer gods sake"

You laughed at his sudden outburst, usually when he was rather frustrated his Irish accent came out.

"never mind... Just let's go to my room and talk... Alright?"

So the pair of you walk up the stairs of his wooden cabin, and into his room.

And that's why I jumped out of a window, got chased by the councilor... And so on!

he stared at you dumbfounded. "So... You did all of that for me?"

"Well yea! What kind of friend would I be if I didn't? But now you have to tell me what you wanted to say before"

He cleared his throat "about that..." he breathed in and looked you directly In the eyes
"will you... Please... I would like..."

His words were muttered and slurred
"screw it..."

He muttered something under his breath and tried again.

"PLEASE ACCEPT MY LOVE" he yelled at the top of his lungs, even though you were right next to him.

you looked down at the bed and your body shook, once then again.

"(y/n)?! Are you okay??

And you looked up.
And began to laugh hysterically.

"hey! What so damn funny?"

Tears of laughter rolled down your face.

"oh- m-y god..." you managed to stutter between breaths. You took a moment to collect yourself. "that's the best way to ask someone out... Ever!"

"by Jesus... Don't do that!"

His Irish accent very clear by now.

You throw your arms around him and begin to laugh again.

"I accept your love~"

I felt my body burn with anger from what I saw, I had been careless. I had even let myself be seen.

I have to get rid of her.
