Your p.o.v

"I WIN AGAIN!!"
You were at jack's house and were playing video games in his room, to try to take your mind off things. "jack... How?! I totally won that time!!" you exclaim, throwing your controller next to you and fall back on his bed. "because... I am... A TRUE BOSS!" he yelled at the top of his lungs. Earning distasteful looks from his neighbors. It was late and you were staying the night at jack's house since his parents were gone for the week.

"Hey jack..."
"yea?"
"thanks for today"
He smiles idiotically, "no problem!" "Hmmm... Its getting kinda late but... Do you want dinner?"

"I hadn't realized that we hadn't eaten... And that's why I was hungry." you reply "so yea! That would be great... But I have no idea how to cook."
neither do I!" he yelled "I'll just order pizza... One sec!" he ran downstairs to retrieve his phone. You decide to close the window as it was beginning to get cold, and see something strange.

Someone, in the street below,was staring at you under the cover of darkness. They were in perfectly still, their hair blowing in the chilly Irish air, and their skirt doing likewise, leading you to assume it was a female. They stared at you, unmoving. You hurriedly shut the window and draw the curtains, shivering in fear.

"I'm back!!! The pizza will be here soon!... hey are you okay? Your not thinking about it again, are you?" he walks over to you looking at you with clear concern. You were sitting in the corner of the room, farthest from the window. Hugging your knees and rocking back and forth, paired with your heavy breathing it was no wonder jack was concerned. "nothing! Oh its fiiiiine!" you mutter, even though you know jack can tell you were lying to him. He walked over to you, and sat by your side. He placed one hand on yours and the other around your shoulders. "look... If your not feeling okay we can always take you home to your parents. Okay?"

"but... I wanna stay..." you can't find it within yourself to tell him what you saw.

"then I will protect you until... Until the world breaks down." his green hair covered one of his eyes, and a determined smile plastered across his face. "
"I promise."

"now unless you want to continue rocking in the corner, let's continue are game... And see if you can defeat THE ULTIMATE BOSS!!"

you manage a smile, he really was one of the best boyfriends you could ask for. "sure... Let's play!"

That's when the fear began to return.

During your game your mind had been elsewhere, constantly thinking about the stranger of the shadows... Who was she? Why was she there? Was it even a she? Why do I keep thinking about pointless questions? No one knows. Jack picked up on your lack of attention so he decided to put on a movie while you guys ate pizza. Sitting with one arm around you.

-knock- -knock-
Someone or something was banging softly on the glass window.

-tap- -tap- -knock- -tap-
They continued to knock on the glass.

You walk over to the window, terrified. "j-j-ack. I didn't tell you something!"

You Attempt to stop him opening the window.

"you did?" he looked at you, his eyes filled with worry.

"I...saw..." you just can't say it.

"I SAW PERSON, HUMAN BEING FEMALE, DOWN THERE"

"slow down dammit, yelling loudly is my job!"
you could tell he was trying To Lighten your mood, even though he was just as terrified as you.

"female... Person, Down there... Looked at us" you managed to utter.

"(y/n)... You have really been through a lot... Are you sure you saw that?"

"believe me please... Just... Let's get out of here... Please."

"fine... But where do we go?"

"to the police dammit!"

"don't we need... Evidence?"

You could tell what he was implying. he wanted to open the window.

"b-u-t j-jack... I'm scared."

he grabbed your shoulders and turned you to face him. "what did I promise you?" his shimmering sapphire eyes looking directly into your own, and with that

You tear open the curtain. But you see nothing.

"Jack... I swear I saw something."you whisper.
"hey... Its going to be okay!" the soothing voice and calming smile was back. He held you in his arms and softly stroked your back. "remember? I promise you."

After those words fell from his mouth, almost like a switch, the person hiding snapped.

the window smashed sending shattered glass shards everywhere, spraying the pair of you.

Someone stood between the billowing curtains. Their blond hair whipping their face.

This wasn't just anyone. It was the owner of the eyes. Cold, grey and steel like eyes, staring at you two... Then you saw it. She took a step into the room, the light hitting her for the first time. The girl was holding a knife stained with blood and her clothes dripping with the same red liquid.

It was you... You whispered... You killed Tiffy...

"heh...hehe.... and now I'm here for you..."
