Epilogue

Five Years Later

"Michiko! Masato! Let's go, you don't want to be late on your first day of school." Lucy called.

"Coming mommy!" Both kids shouted out. They came running out of their room. Michiko wore a purple dress and black flats while Masato wore a red shirt and black pants with red converse.

Lucy then handed them their backpacks as they came to her. "Natsu, let's go!!" She yelled.

"I'm coming..." He said back sadly. Once Natsu showed up, they left the house. They walked the kids to school since it was just down the street.

"Alright, here we are," Lucy said as they arrived, "Are you guys ready??" She smiled happily.

"Yeah!" They cheered.

"Be sure to make lots of friends and have fun, alright?" She told them.

Natsu kneeled over and hugged his children tightly. "Are you sure you guys don't just want to stay home with daddy?" He cried.

"Daddy I gotta go~" Michiko said trying to escape from the crushing hug.

"We have to go dad." Masato said hugging his dad back.

"Natsu, you have to let them go at some point, you already made them miss kindergarten." Lucy pointed out.

Natsu released his children and stood up wiping away his tears. "You're right, you're right." He looked at the kids and grabbed their hands. "Don't forget about me, okay?" His eyes full of tears.

"Daddy you can't be more upset than me, see I'm smiling, so you smile too." Michiko laughed. "We'll be back later, I promise."

"We'll see you later. You'll be here to pick us up, right daddy?" Masato tugged on Natsu's shirt.

"Of course son." Natsu ruffled his hair. The school bell rang and it was time for the kids to go.

The kids quickly hugged their parents and ran into the school building. Lucy sighed heavily and she and Natsu began their walk home. "Oh so now you get to be sad, but when I was it wasn't okay."

"I had to be strong in front of them, if we had both been sad, it would have been impossible to get them to school."

"Oh right... Well everything will be okay and when they come home we can play with them and we can all spend some time together." Natsu hugged her while they walked along the street.

"Yeah, you're right." Lucy smiled reassured.

The kids eventually came home from school and Lucy and Natsu could finally spend time with their kids again.

The Dragneel family was happy and peaceful. Luckily, the kids wouldn't be growing up by themselves. Gray and Juvia now had a 5 year old daughter who's name was Reign, she was very close friends with Michiko and Masato. Gajeel and Levy had a 4 year old son who's name was Rin. (Erza and Jellal found it best that they wouldn't have kids yet)

Everyone was happy and everything was going well. Just as they hoped.

Hey guys. So it's finally over, sadly. I had such a fun time writing this story and working with many of you guys getting ideas and pictures and everything. I also want to apologize for being gone for such a long time. I've been busy/procrastinating. So I'm really sorry about that.
