Forced to Be Without You

Sorority Trials

         "Welcome sisters. You are all here because you wanted to join Kappa." The girls who ran the sorortiy stood before all of us.

          "To join Kappa, you must complete 5 trials. If you fail to complete these trials, you can not be part of Kappa." Another girl said. There was a crowd of girls waiting to see what would happen.

          "We have already chosen who we want. Because there are a even amount of you ladies, we will have two each." Julie was up there speaking. The girls who were already members stood up there with her.

          "So, I will tell you who we chose." Julie started. "I chose Lucy and Levy." Levy and I looked at each other than walked to Julie.

          "Are you ready?" Julie asked us. Levy and I took our hands into each others and raised them in the air.

          "Yes ma'am!" We cheered. She smiled and led us out of the room we all met up in. The room was about the size of a regular apartment. Not that big, but also not that small.

          "Alright ladies. There are a series of trials that you will have to complete to be fully initiated into Kappa." Julie told Levy and I as we continued to follow behind her like little ducks.

          "How many trials are there?" Levy asked.

          "Five." Julie shortly answered.

          "Are they all hard?" I asked.

          "Maybe. Maybe not." Julie smiled evily. Butterflies entered my stomach, not knowing what exactly I was getting in to. We followed her until we got a the fountain that was built directly in the middle of campus.

          "Alright, here before you is the first envelope for your first trial. You may go open it." Levy and I walked over to the cotton candy pink envelopes that sat on the edge of the fountain. My name was on one and Levy's name was on the others.

          I turned around to face Julie to see if there was anything else we needed to be told, but when I did, she wasn't there anymore. Okay... I thought to myself. I opened up the envelope and read;

          Hello Lucy. This is your first trial. It is a basic trial. All you must do is run to the 'A' Dorms. There will be a boy in a bright yellow jacket. Go to him and he will tell you what to do. You have 30 minutes to complete this task. I have my eyes on you all the time, you won't know how, only I will. Go!

          I looked at Levy and said good luck, then began sprinting to dorm building 'A'. Sprinting because the its a good distance away and I only have 30 minutes.

          Once I got to dorm building 'A', I looked around for the guy in the bright yellow jacket. Once I found him, I was pretty much blinded. He was like a hilighter! But in the sun!!
