I actually didn't buy them, they were a 2013 Christmas present from my mother!
Thank you, Mommy! ;)The series launched on the thirtieth of May, and I discovered its fabulousness in August of that year, 2013.
When I realized that it was a doll line, I shrieked in joy and happiness. I knew that this was the perfect way to get me out of my Post-Barbie obsession/withdrawl phase. On Christmas morning, me and my little sister opened the last six presents under the tree (mind you, they were the biggest): three for each.
I opened the first one, and started shrieking when I saw the beautiful and petite face of my basic Madeline Hatter doll. Then, I opened the second one in a frenzy, and it turned out to be my bae, Raven Queen, in all of her basic glory!
My emotions and adrenaline were spilling out of my head. My energy count was infinite. My hands were shaking as I savagely ripped up the last one...and my tiny lips met the window of my Legacy Day Raven Queen doll box. I was rolling on the floor at this point!
I vowed to take care of them as if they were my babies. Up until 2015, where I painted my basic Raven silver and lost her clothes.
I may never get any more EAH dolls as long as I'm under the roof of my parents. Hex, I may never get any more dolls in general! But let me tell you, I can say that that was undoubtedly one of most amazing times in my thirteen years.
;)
