Rules of this exercise: Describe a significant person in your life without using any cliches (diamond in the rough, fit as a fiddle, without a care in the world, etc.). Make up your own cliches. For this exercise, I'm going to describe my good friend, Kassidy.

Kassidy was a girl that learned family bonds are thick a long time ago. She's learned some friendships will barricade her future and others will polish the path ahead of her to make it brighter. Sometimes, she feels like her future consumes her, allowing her to fly and see the path ahead. Other times, however, it feels like she's the one who waits before the fantastic leap of faith. This kid has some rising up to do, along with all of us, but we'll be there, watching and waiting. She's a pearl in a clam, just waiting to be discovered. Yes, she's going to do something honorable someday.
