Rules of this exercise: Generate three nouns from http://writingexercises.co.uk/take-three-nouns.php . Take those three nouns (one abstract, two concrete). Write a paragraph using and connecting those three words. My nouns ended up to be hate, cave, and planet. Alright. Here we go!
Venus is the only planet where caves were to be feared. Those who entered the caves came back different, very different. The difference isn't a good difference, either. Those who explored the caves and had the nerve to enter back into the village were often imprisoned with other madmen and criminals. "The caves are filled with hate," my mother preached when I was a small child, "Those that go in are consumed with the caves' hate! You must never go into the caves." I remember sitting on her lap when she first informed me. It was the day after my brother had went into the caves and came home, different. I looked up at her as she stroked my hair. "Will the caves ever run out of hate, Momma?" I asked, optimism filling my voice. She just shook her head. "No, darling. The caves will never stop their hate. Never go near those caves." she answered firmly. I remembered the statement breaking my hope. "Yes, Momma," I leaped from her lap and walk off in sadness. My reply began to echo in my head as I stood at the rugged entrance of a cave.
