This Should Be Fun

chapter 3

I get to the hospital and run inside, I already knew her room so I went right in.
"LEX YOU IDIOT WHAT DID YOU DO?"
"Ash, calm down its nothing big-"
"NOTHING BIG? YOU'RE IN THE HOSPITAL"
"Ash, I cut my hand and I just need stitches."
"still...you're an idiot." Alexis starts laughing and I smile at her while rolling my eyes.
"But lex, do you need anything?"
"I never got to eat my lunch, so will you go get me some pizza or something?" I nod my head and leave to go get the pizza. I get distracted and suddenly I run into someone and fall on the floor.
"Hey, are you okay?" says an unknown voice. I look up and see a beautiful boy about the same age as me with adorable brown hair and a little look of worry on his face.
"Y-yeah I'm fine, sorry for running into you." I say getting myself up and blushing of embarrassment.
"Don't worry about it. My names Taylor by the way."
"I'm Ashley."
"That's a cute name," says a smiling Taylor. "Where are you headed to Ashley?"
"I'm going to the cafeteria to get my friend some pizza."
"Wow, so am I."
"Then why were you heading a different way then me?" I ask taylor.
"I um... well I was... lost" says Taylor, winking at me and making me blush. We head to the cafeteria and get the pizza, not saying much. We go back to Lex's room and I introduce Taylor to Alexis. I give Lex her pizza and he says he has to go but he'll be back, winking at me again.
"So, you ran into that hottie?" Lex asks me smirking. I roll my eyes and tell her that I did.
"Did you meet his friend?"
"No I didn't but maybe we will when he comes back," I say noticing that Lex was still staring at me "What?"
"That's not the friend I was talking about" Alexis says as she starts laughing at my sudden blushing.
"LEX OMG SHUT UP" I say laughing and add " besides I just met him so...maybe one day" with a smirk on my face and Lex starts laughing even more. Eventually Taylor comes back with his friend Shawn. I notice that Shawn and Lex don't stop looking at eachother with such heart eyes and I take Taylor out of the room, making up an excuse. "Taylor why does Shawn keep staring at Lex?" I ask looking through the rooms window.
"You notice that but you don't notice me staring at you?" taylor asks laughing. I blush and playfully punch his arm and say "I'm serious."
"So am I, love." Taylor smirks. I blush even more and roll my eyes at him.
"But uh I don't know maybe he has a crush on her."
"Maybe but Lex is um...taken."
Taylor stares at me so I ask what he was looking at and he says
"Why'd you hesitate and have that look on your face?" Taylor asks me, with concern in his cute voice.
"Let's just say that Lex and her boyfriend aren't... good." I say looking up at Taylor and looking away again. He raises his eyebrow and I look back in the room biting my lip and feeling Taylor's stare and the red, hotness of my cheeks.
