"Stevie!" I call rushing through the house trying to find my big haired friend.
"Carson? What's wrong?" Chris asked when he almost ran into me.
"Nothing. I just need to find my friend." I sprint up the stairs and past Chris. When I get to the top I run into someone.
"Hey watch it!" They growl as I fall back. "Carson? What's wrong?," Stevie asks helping me up.
"He kissed me, Stevie! Blake kissed me," I tell her.
"Oh my god! What happened next? Did you make out? Was it good? Why are you here and not with that fine piece of man?!" Stevie demands giving me a 'look'.
"I panicked." I say. She rolls her eyes and pushes me into my bed room.
"Carson, a boy as fine as Blake kissed you and you panic?" She looks at me like I'm insane, and I probably am. "I don't get it. What is wrong with that?"
"Absolutely nothing," I say dreamily thinking about him.
"Wait. You need to walk me through this because you're making no damn sense."
"Okay so we were messing around and splashing each other in the ocean. Then Blake set his hands on my hips and said I was a beautiful and amazing woman. And then he kissed me! It was perfect." I sigh happily as Stevie evaluates me.
"Tongue?" She quizzes and I shake my head. "Lip biting? Ass grabbing? Awkward teeth knocking? Drool? Boob grouping? Hair pulling? Nasty pimple or mouth sore? There was nothing bad about it at all?"
"Nope, none of that. It was the perfect kiss and he was a complete gentleman. Well, it was the perfect kiss until I panicked and pushed him away like an idiot." I groan and fall into my bed.
"Carson Ann Benson, you better be joking. There is no way that you pushed away a sexy, hot rockstar, who happens to be an amazing kisser, while he kissed you during the perfect moment! What the hell is wrong with you? Why did you push that away!?"
"Because he's a sexy, hot rockstar who is an amazing kisser." I reply.
"I don't see a problem here," Stevie's says. "Unless of course you're starting to like him."
"I barely know him!" I insist and she rolls her eyes at me.
"Whatever. You've spent two nights together," she points out. "You have to know something."
"I know that he's an amazing kisser and that he's probably kissed tons of other girls. I'm nothing special to him."
"Girl, you act like this is you're first kiss. You've kisses tons of other guys. Don't be like that," Stevie criticized giving me another one of her "looks".
"He's a rockstar, Stevie. He could leave any day and completely forget about me." I say. "I don't want to get involved with someone that could hurt me."
"You're leaving at the end of the summer," she points out. "You know this would be a fling. Don't let yourself get hurt."
"People are always hanging in him. I don't want that in my life." I tell her," I don't even know if he likes me. We're both pretty tipsy. For all I know he's already found a new fangirl to make out with."
"Oh, I see it now. You're scared and jealous," Stevie says laying on the bed next to me. "You're never going to be his first girlfriend, Car, and he sure as hell isn't yours. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't have fun. Maybe you'll be his last. Don't think about the rockstar part. He's Blake. This is our summer! Don't let fear ruin it."
