Chapter 27

I stayed in my room with my doors locked and not letting anyone in.

The only reason is because Hayes and Nash will be home today, actually their flight landed about 30 minutes ago so they should be pulling in anytime soon.

I don't know how I'll face Hayes. I can't face him.

"Elena! Hayes and Nash are home!" My mom screams.

I didn't bother to get up or leave my room.

I had the pictures and everything else put up in my closet. I don't think I'll ever use any of the things in it, but for some reason I can't get rid of it.

There was a knock on my door, so I put my headphones in a blasted my music so I couldn't hear anything.

I turn on my side and pulled the covers over me. A nap sounds really good right now. I see the bathroom handle wiggle for a second then stop. After that I closed my eyes and hoped I'll wake up and it all be a dream.

Hayes's POV

"Elena! Hayes and Nash are home!" Kim screams.

After a while of not getting an answer I walked up there to see her. And my Isabella.

God I love them.

I knock on her door then try to open it but it was locked.

I shrugged and walked over to my bathroom door. It was locked too.

"Elena?" I say and knock again.

I didn't hear anything but a faint sound of music.

She has headphones in blasting her music. Somethings wrong. The only time she ever does that is when she's ignoring people and/or upset.

"Elena? Are you okay?" I say again. Of course no answer.

I want to let her have some space but then again I don't because of Isabella and I don't want either of them to be hurt.

I groan and walk back to my room. I sit on my bed, waiting for her to finally come out.

WHAT?

I jump up from my bed and run over to the bathroom door again.

"Elena?!" I scream and bang on the door.

"ELENA!" I yell again.

"Hayes what's going on?!" Nash yells as him and Kim walk into my room.

"Elena- she- she's in- she could be-" I try to explain but I kept stuttering over my words.

"Here I got it." Nash says and gets his credit card out his wallet.

He easily unlocks it. Wonder where he learned that.

I hurry and open the door. To my surprise Elena was fast asleep with the covers pulled over her and her earphones hanging on her.

I breath out and walk over to her. I kiss her head then go to my knees next to her bed, my hand was softly caressing her hair as she mumbled stuff in her sleep.

"Hayes? What's all this about?" Kim whispers.

"Nothing." I say not wanting to explain.

Elena's POV

I wake up with someone's arms around me and light snores from the person.

I turn around and see Hayes sleeping.
