Misunderstandings

Rin's P.O.V

I kept trying to call Haru but he wouldn't pick up. I was getting a little worried about what might of happened. When I finally reached his house I knocked on the door and rang the bell. I waited about 15 seconds before trying at the door. Surprisingly, it was locked....what's going on?

I walked around his house. Locked...locked. Everything's locked? All the curtains are shut too.. Something was weird. He never does this. Even if he's sad he doesn't do this. Maybe he's sleeping? I shrugged and slowly started to walk back. I'll tell the others about this.

Haru's P.O.V

I sat in my bed, I had just finished bawling when I heard the bell ring. I didn't want to answer it. I had gotten 10 missed calls from Rin, I don't care. I don't think he cares either. I squeezed my blankets and the last of my tears. I was still crying but it was much more quiet than before my forearms were wet from my tears but that didn't stop them from falling. Makoto and Rin had played me. But it all makes sense. Rin and Makoto had been hanging out more ever since Makoto told me he had a secret boyfriend. And yesterday Makoto pulled him back and talked to him. And then now, I caught Rin lying about Makoto. While jumbled up in my thoughts my eye lids became heavy, and I fell asleep.

Somehow I slept the rest of the day and it was 1:00pm when I woke up. I rubbed my eyes and checked my phone. And I had slept through another 15 calls from Rin, 5 calls from Nagisa, and 10 calls from Makoto. I was about to shut off my phone when I got another call, this time it was from Rei so I answered it. "Hello?" There was a sigh on the other end of the phone.

"Haru! I've been so worried! Rin called me saying you weren't picking up and locked your door."

"Oh." I rolled my eyes.

"Are you alright?" He asked I thought for a moment. Rei was the type of person you could talk too no matter what and understand. I'll let him in since he's dating a guy anyways

"Actually no...Can you come over?" I asked shyly. There was a slight pause.

"Yeah I'll be over right now." The Call ended and I sighed. Therapy time.

About five minutes later there was a knock at the door. I checked to make sure it was Rei and Rei alone. Then I opened the door. "Hey." I said softly.

"What's wrong?" He looked worried and it seemed like he had sprinted all the way over here.

"Just...come inside." I let Rei in and shut the door sitting down in the living room.  "Ok...um, yesterday Rin and I were at the Iwatobi original swim building and he sorta kissed me. He had been acting strange for the whole week and I was convinced he was just messing around. I don't even know if he likes me. I don't even know if he likes men, but after a while he left saying that Makoto needed help with "homework." And when I went to the park they were sitting together, laughing and smiling. They were sitting really close and I'm sure I saw Rin's arm over Makoto's shoulder. I don't know why but I feel heart broken. So I just shut myself in here. I feel like I've just been played...."

There was a long awkward silence between us, I didn't even know if he'd understand.

"I see." He leaned back and pushed his glasses up. "Haru you need to talk to him about this."

"Rei you don't understand I think Makoto's secret boyfriend is Rin!" I blurted. Rei's eyes widened.

"Haru there's no way. But....MAKOTO HAS A SECRET BOYFRIEND!?!" I winced.

"Don't tell anyone, you weren't supposed to know." Rei nodded quickly. But here I'll call him for yo-"

"No!" I grabbed his phone and held it to my chest "don't call him! Don't call him...please. I need to do this in person." Rei nodded and I gave him his phone back.

I slowly took out my phone and went to his contact:

Rin, Meet me at the
Abandoned warehouse with
the fence when the sun
sets. I'll talk to you Then.

I sent the text and sighed heavily. "Thank you Rei..." I stood up, and he smiled some.

"No problem. Make sure to call me if you need anything else. We're all here for you ok?" I nodded a bit and watched Rei leave. I looked up at the sky. This would be difficult. I quickly made some mackerel and ran out towards the set destination.

Rin's P.O.V

My phone suddenly dinged with a message. I lunged at it hoping it was Haru. When I opened it up I saw the text in big bold letters. The warehouse with the fence. I know where that is...but the sun set. I looked up at the sky. It wouldn't be that long.

"Rin is everything alright?" My sister Gou asked. I had invited her over since I couldn't sleep last night.

"Yeah, I just heard from Haru so I'm leaving when the sun starts to set." Gou narrowed her eyes.

"What happened now? Did you two get into a fight again?" She asked placing her hands on her hips. I shrugged, I really didn't know. "Well, you have to solve this on your own this time. Haru is your best friend, and he's do anything for you. That's why he helped you find your way again."

" I know...and I was gonna do that anyway." I muttered. I really hope he's ok.

When I saw the colour of they sky change into a orange shade I dashed out the door without saying good-bye to Gou. I need to know what was going on.

I waited patiently by the fence. I had been here for two whole hours and the sun just began to set. I hope he got the text and I kinda hope he didn't. But ten minutes later I saw the shark toothed male slowly walking up. His hair blew in the wind as he approached me. Just looking at him made my eyes tear up, I was thinking of the worst but hoping for the best.

"Haru..." Rin looked at me. By his ragged features I could tell he didn't get a lot of sleep last night.

"Rin...I want you to answer me truthfully." I stared deeply into his scarlet red eyes as he stared straight into mine.

"Yesterday we were at Iwatobi and Makoto called. You left saying he needed help with homework, but when I went for a walk in the park I saw you two. Together. You lied to me Rin, you lied to my face. Why couldn't you just tell me you were Makoto's secret boyfriend?" I felt the tears roll down my face. But I didn't care I just wanted to know.

Rin's eyes widened a bit and he began to stutter. "This...this what you were so mad about?" He asked. I could hear the hint of annoyance and anger in his voice.

"Well, you kissed me so I felt played." I added quickly. " and...and ever since Makoto told me he was dating someone you two hung out a lot more." I looked down and bit my lip. When the silence increased the awkwardness I looked up. I saw the lust and fury in his eyes. He held his head up high has he looked down at me.

"Why~ you~" He grabbed my forearm and pulled me into a violent kiss, his tongue intertwined harshly with mine and he bit my lip every now and then. He walked back pushing me into the metal fence. It was cold even with the hot weather. He's hands slipped around my waist and he leaned forward. I shut my eyes and soon began to kiss back at him.

Once he pulled away I looked back up at him. He still looked pissed, "I'm not dating Makoto, the one who is dating him is Sousuke!" I blinked.

"Oh...I-I didn't know. I just thought- well, I assumed." I couldn't find the correct words that I wanted to say. I felt like an idiot now.

"Turn around and put you hands on the fence."
