"Mom why do we have to go to Florida???" I whined while putting my bags on the car
"We have to visit your grandparents. Ok? We already talked about this right?" Mom ask while closing the trunk
"Yes but...ugh. we're only staying there for a week then. I have to attend a very important concert."
"Ok Kayla. Just get in the car.. We're gonna be late for our flight!, I'm so excited!" Mom said while flashing me one of her traditional big smile before going inside the car
I sighed and I went in as well
"Hi sweety" dad said while flashing me a smile through the mirror thingy in the car
"Hey dad." I said while putting my earphones in my ear and blasting off "Heartbreak girl" by 5 seconds of summer
I put all of my attention in the window and I realized dad's already driving.
Suddenly my phone vibrated. I removed it from my pocket and I look at the notification.
My all time favorite youtuber, mark Thomas, posted a tweet.
"Florida here we come! 😶"
Ha I wonder if there's a chance that I'll be seated next to mark on the plane.

"Kayla you're seat is B-3" mom said while finding my seat
"Here" I said while going to my seat. It was the window's seat.. which is good
"Kayla you have to wait for us outside the plane If we already landed ok?" Mom ask strictly
"Yes mom don't worry I won't go with strangers" I said with sarcasm
Mom gave me a look and I immediately said "yes" while giving her a smile
Even though it's fake she still went for it.
She went to her seat and I'm left alone.
Well you see. Mom's seat is B-9, dad's on B-6 and I'm left alone here.
Well not actually. There's 1 remaining seat left
I put my earphones on and I started listening to a song called "Midnight memories". I don't know who sang it but they're fucking good
I felt someone sat at the remaining seat
For me being the curious one I look up only to see mark freaking Thomas
I remove my earphones and he look at me
"Hi" he said while flashing me a smile
"Hello" I said while tugging long blonde hair behind my ear
"I'm mark and I'll be your seat mate for this whole flight" mark said while chuckling
"And I'm kayla. I already know you actually...I'm a fan..but not the crazy type one because if I am I already yelled" I said while chuckling
He chuckled and he look at me straight in the eyes
"Is there something on my face?" I ask while frowning
"No"
"Then why are you looking at me like that?"
"I don't know..I love looking at beautiful girls like you"
"w-woah I uh..Thanks..really means a lot" I said while smiling at him
....... after the plane ride ........
I was now waiting for my mom and dad when suddenly mark popped next to me
"Hey mark. You almost scared me" I said while putting my hand on my chest
"Sorry. Who are you waiting for?" Mark ask while holding back his laugh
"My mom and dad. They told me to wait for them so here I am" I said while smiling at him
Suddenly mark's name are being called by a bunch of dudes
Mark look at the boys who are calling him and he look back at me
"Can I borrow your phone for just a second?" Mark ask while flashing me a worried smile
"Uh sure" I said while handing my iPhone to him
He started tapping and tapping before handing it back to me
"I can trust you on that one right?"
I look at my phone and I immediately smile.
"Yes mark. You can. I promise"
"Good. See you around" mark said while running to his friends
