Happiness is something that everyone needs in order to enjoy life to its fullest and is something that should not be taken for granted as it can disappear at any moment. Well I desired it and for me to get it, I had to make a friend which was very daunting knowing that could get rejected and get the feeling of being unwanted, lonely and left with an empty feeling inside but asking was the only way to discover the unknown and to find out the truth. Slowly I walk up to this girl and with every step felt like an earthquake as you shake rapidly with all the nerves becoming overwhelming to the point where you question if you really want to do it.

Suddenly I realise my body has come to a stop and she looks at me, wondering what my next action is going to be. With all the courage built up inside me, I say to her " Would you like to be my friend" and then a moment of silence comes. She turns to me and gives me this beaming smile and says the precious word "yes" and I know that I am wanted. The biggest smile appears on my face and a burst of laughter comes as my life was complete and I had gained the thing that I desired most which was happiness. This girl's name was Chelsea and she had the most beautiful smile and bubbly personality and I am happy to now call her my friend.

Sometimes you just know that they are your perfect match or best friend because you either have a lot in common or just click and that's when you realise that you are meant for each other. Well this was Chelsea and me as there was something about her that I knew we would just get along which we did, she was going to be one of the people in my life that would make an impact on my life. My mum said that Chelsea was a reflection of me as we were both bubby, shy but also just as equally crazy as myself. She meant the world to me and I was always there for Chelsea and she was always there for me when I needed her most and that is what I believe is one of the true qualities of a friend is each other being there when it's needed most.
