Lynn Marie Ride : Fangs Return (Maximum Ride Fan-Fiction)

An Injury and a decision

Fang and I stood in complete shock for all of about five seconds then launched into action : I snapped my leg out towards the Eraser hitting him square in the stomach. While Fang was able to get around him and into the house , I knew what our plan was hopefully Max was able to get everyone out in time before more Erasers showed up.

  Minutes later , my side was killing me where the mutt had scratched me with his claws and I knew I had a bruise on my right cheek and shoulder. It was when I was about to punch the dog/ man in the face , that I heard my sister's whistle from about ten feet away in the air . "Sorry Mutt gotta fly!" I teased him before snapping out my wings kicking him in the face then flying towards where I had heard the whistle signal come from. It took me about fifteen minutes to find the rest of the flock and check to  make sure everyone was safe.

 I found them in a cave that Fang and I had found once while we were exploring the forest behind our house.  " Lynn are you okay ? Are you hurt anywhere?" My twin asked me anxiously coming over to me.

Flopping down to the ground I groaned "Yeah my side is killing me , that stupid mutt scratched my left side. " I didn't even move when she leaned down beside me to examine the said wound , I heard here gasp audibly then heard the others gasp as well.

"Damn Lynn How did you fight so long with a wound like that ?" Max asked me , her voice starting to sound far away .

I blinked , my vision had started to become slightly blurred. " I dunno.." My voice trailed off as did all of my other senses .

 When I came too I was looking up at a white ceiling , instantly I shot up . Being a bird kid had taught me that whenever you see a white mass above your head it usually means your in a hospital and for me that is one place a can't stand. "MAXXX!!!" I cried out for my sister fearing the worst.

Seconds later the door to my right burst open and there she stood , almost exactly like I would look if I saw her in a hospital bed. "Lynn!! Your Awake!! Thank God!" She quickly walked over to me putting her arms around me.

I put my arms around her and pressed my face into her shoulder . After a few seconds , I pulled back and asked "Why am I in the hospital ? You know I don't like hospitals Max."

Max gave a small laugh and at the exact moment our dad , Jeb, walked into the room "Your not in a hospital Lynn Marie, your at our cottage by the clear water lake * " My father told me.

I eyed him for a moment then asked "Why are we here? Where's the rest of the Flock ? What about Mom and Ella ?"My worry was apparent to even me.

Max laid a comforting hand on my right shoulder "Their all fine Lynn their right outside your room , " She looked towards the door "all right come on in you guys!"

The door opened again this time my mom , my half sister , Fang , Iggy , Gassy , Angel , and Nudge strolled in "Hey so your finally awake!" My mom walked over to me and gentley put her arms around me "Everything is fine your going to be confined to bed for a few days but otherwise that nasty scratch of yours will heal in no time!"

I just then remeber the scratch the mutt man had given me , looking down I put my right hand on my left side underneath the fabric of my shirt I could feel medical tape wrapped around my midsection. "How bad was it Mom?"

Mom looked a little concerned " It was about half way through your skin . But we were able to fix you up just fine, thanks to your sister donating  some of her blood to you." Her eyes showed releif .

"Thats good." I sighed . "So whats our next move ?" I asked to no one in particular .

For a few minutes no one answered me then "Its either we stay here or we leave and find out whats going on." Fang said.

I sighed again them said " Lets think about it for a couple of days while I heal then we'll decide ."

I looked at my sister who nodded " Right."

 Welp sorry this took forever school , concerts , family issues were stopping me from updating all these weeks , But I hope you guys enjoy this chapter ! It may take me a little longer to write new parts to my stories I broke my pinky on a wall (serves me right) .
