David was first out.

I guess he just couldn't stand the cold water running down his face into his shirt and down his pants.

And I must admit — the girls made sure the water balloons were filled with the coldest water ever.

"One down, two to go!" Ilene said, a smirk across her face as Carmen and Florence gave each other high-fives.

Florence picked up a red water balloon and aimed at my hair.

They always go for the hair.

Stay strong Harry, you got this.

Darren looked over at me, squinting his eyes a bit.

"I think we should just let the girls have it" he whispered to me.

SPLASH

In the stomach that time.

"We gotta stay strong — for David" I said, as Ilene threw a green water balloon at Darren.

She really had her eyes set for getting Darren.

Darren nodded as he closed his eyes shut once again.

This was going to be an interesting tome.

I sneezed as Florence wrapped me in another towel.

Great.

I'm coming off with a cold.

"Your nose is turning red" Caen pointed out.

I gave her a weak smile, before I could say anything Ilene interjected.

"Yeah, he's smelling defeat my friend" a smile of satisfaction across her face as she gently patted Carmen's back.

Everyone burst into laughter.

Basically, Darren and I couldn't keep up with the girls anymore so yeah ... We lost.

But we all compromised and agreed we'd all share the tree house.

"So this is our tree house?" Ilene squeaked, her eye twitching a bit.

"C'mon Ilene, how many things have we shared?" Florence asked, putting her hand to her hip.

With that, Ilene actually cracked a smile.

"You're right" she said, giving in.

"I'm famished!" said David from not too far.

We all looked in his direction.

"I agree one hundred percent brother" Darren agreed.

I shrugged.

"How about we go to the bakery?" I suggested.

Carmen ruffled my hair as she got up.

"Good thinking Harry" she said.

Oh stop it you!

Florence shot Carmen a death glare.

"Its Baker's Boy" Ilene corrected as she walked towards the car.

Leaving me the last one to get up.

"Hey wait!" I called out as I ran over to them.

We all hopped into Ilene's brother's pickup truck.

Same positions as when we arrived, only difference was in the back we were seated four and not three.

Adding Carmen of course.
