"Babe! CALM DOWN!" Darren shrieked from the back of the car.

Ilene was driving as if she was insane.

I looked at the little clock on the radio, it read 12:48AM.

I sighed.

I instantly thought about how if I was still my famous self I could be out until 5 AM and nobody could do anything about it.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of sirens.

Wait — what?

All heads except Ilene's turned back.

"GUYS! IT'S THE POLICE!" Florence shouted, fanning herself over and over again.

"PULL OVER!" David shouted, as sweat began to start forming on his forehead.

"Calm down, and there's no way in bloody hell that I'm going to pull over" Ilene said calmly, as she increased speed.

I was silent.

Only because I was still trying to let it sink in that I was in my best friend's car with my other 3 friends on a police chase.

It was strange how I almost had no reaction to the situation before me.

I kept my eyes focused on the road.

I watched as we zoomed passed stop signs, trees , and even deer.

The police still at our tail.

That's when I saw it.

The lorry.

"ILENE!" I shrieked, but it was too late.

"His birth name is just Harry?" a voice asked.

"Yes ma'am, middle name Edward and last name Styles" I heard Gemma answer the voice sadly.

"How long will he be in this coma?" I heard Gemma ask again.

Then it hit me — I was in a hospital.

I couldn't feel any part of my body.

I could only hear what was going on in my surroundings.

"It depends, you do realize Miss, that he has suffered the most severe damage compared to anyone else in the car?" the voice, who I assumed was the doctor asked my sister.

They got quiet and I hear footsteps coming towards my bed.

Then they stopped.

It sounded like heels, so I concluded it was Gemma.

"I'm sorry little brother, I should've stopped you from going since this morning, I'm such a bad sister I —" then she began crying.

I felt terrible.

I hated seeing people who were close to me cry.

Especially Gemma and Mum.

I wanted to wake up and hug her and tell her it wasn't her fault at all.

Because it wasn't, It was nobody's.

She continued to sob at my bedside then I heard another voice.

"Don't cry Gemma"

Florence

Now I felt even worse.

Gemma sniffled a bit then it was quiet again.

"I feel like a lousy sister" Gemma said to Florence hopelessly.

I imagined Florence putting her arms around Gemma as they talked.
