-Will's POV-

"Wake up! It's time!"

I open my eyes and look at the clock. "I'm too late! Why didn't you wake me earlier!?" "I didn't think that I had to! You're normally always on time!" "But now I'm too late!" I get out of my bed and rush to my bathroom to get ready for my day ahead.

After a while I go back to my room. "Don't touch that" He turns around and looks at me with a big smile. "Why not? It's not like I'm going to break your precious crown. Besides, I have one to." "Yeah, but yours isn't the one for the crown prince." "The only difference is that yours is a little bigger." "Come on, we need to go, Father is going to be mad." "He's already mad, he's always mad." "He won't be mad if you wouldn't make him mad all the time." I said to him while I started to walk. "Well he makes me mad, but nobody cares about that." He said following me.

"Finally!" "I am sorry mother, I overslept." I said to our mother and queen. "You overslept? It wasn't Matthew?" "That's exactly what I mean! If something ever doesn't go according to the plan, it's always my fault!" "Stop whining, Matthew." "But Father-" "No, I do not want to hear a word." Our father, the king, says before going outside. We follow him and are greeted by the crowd. After a quick smile and wave, we go to our cars and drive off to a meeting with some important people that I don't really care about. My parents are in one car, my brother is alone in another car and I'm alone in a car too. For safety.

Everyone always thinks that it's fun to be a royal. Believe me, it's not. Ever since I could walk, my parents took me to these meetings. I didn't go to school, I couldn't leave the castle and I don't have any friends. Nobody except my brother, Matthew. He's the closest thing I will ever get of a friend and he means the world to me. I know that we don't always get along, but that's normal, I think. Matthew is a year younger than me, he's twenty-one. And he's lucky that he isn't the crown prince. My father told me that I need to find a woman to marry. He even told me that I can chose her myself, but that I need to find one quick or otherwise he'll chose one for me. That sound good, but like I already said, I can't leave the castle, so how would I ever find a woman that I want to marry?

"We are here, my prince." "Thank you." I told the driver and got out of the car. After an awful long and boring meeting we went outside and greeted the crowd.

And that is when I saw her. She was really beautiful. She had long, blonde hair. I wanted to go and meet her, but I couldn't. I couldn't just go to her, I can't even imagine what father would say. "Will? Are you alright?" "Huh? What?" I heard my brother, but didn't look at him, I had to look at her. "What are you looking at?" "Nothing, leave me alone." "Only if you tell me what you're looking at." Now I looked at him. "If you really want to know, then you have to promise me that you won't tell father." "Uh, alright, I won't tell. So what were you looking at?" I whispered to him: "A woman." "What!? You were looking at a-" "Quiet! Nobody needs to know!" "This is amazing! My big brother is in love!" "I never said that I was in love, Matt." "You don't have to, so where is she? I want to see my future sister in law." "she is behind the crowd, the one with long, blond hair." "The one with the man with her?" "What man?" I looked again and saw her talking with a man. It made me so sad. And I know it's weird that I'm sad about a woman that I never met is talking to a man. But I was really sad. "Yes, that's her." "oh, uh, don't worry, maybe they just met." "No, they are laughing and having fun, they know each other." I saw Matt looking at me from the corner of my eye, but I kept looking at her. "I'm sorry, Will."
