Dear Diary,
I'm in my private bedroom right now on the ship. It's about 10:00 PM, and I'm just about to go to bed, but first I want to tell you about the boat party so far. First of all, this bedroom is amazing. Like I said, it's private, so no one comes in or out unless I decide to let them with the key. I have a fancy bed with nice, textured sheets and just the right size, designed specifically for me. Most importantly of all, it's the most comfortable bed ever, which I know because I had a little snooze earlier. Apart from that, I also have a drawer, beautifully decorated with anything shiny, which includes diamonds and gold, a lamp, and a PlayStation 3 with my top ten favourite games available to play. Oh, they know me so well.
Anyway, enough about my awesome bedroom, I'll get on with the actual boat party itself as I've seen it so far. We boarded this morning, packed with everything we need, which wasn't much, since the crew on the boat already supplied us with most things, and we set sail to somewhere in the middle of the ocean. I wanted somewhere where no one could see us. I'm not sure why. I just kind of like it out here in the ocean, away from everyone else, with only my best friends and closest relatives for company. I love them so much, and I would hope I never lose them.
There wasn't anything planned for the first hour or so, so most people went out on the deck with a cocktail to warm up and admire the sun's rays. Some went to the bar, and some, like me, stayed in and played some games. I enjoy playing board games, it's always been a hobby of mine, and I'm glad most of my friends can relate. It was A LOT of fun.
Later, we had a dance contest with a partner, which I wasn't involved in, because I don't particularly enjoy dancing. I think one of my mum's friends won that, and they got, like, a million pounds or something for winning. It wouldn't have been worth it anyway if I had won, I mean seriously, what would I do with million pounds? Yeah, not much. I could maybe get a new car, or get a new, but small room built in the mansion, which probably wouldn't even have anything good in it. None of those are anything spectacular, so I'm glad I didn't waste my time with that.
One thing I would like to point out is that we're not all posh and fancy like some rich families are. Sure, absolutely everything we own may be covered in something shiny, but we don't sit around a table, drinking wine and laughing poshly (I just made up that word; I like it, it sounds funny) at nothing. We like to have fun, and enjoy our lives, not act cool so that people like us. Besides, we don't need to do that to get people to like us. I have all the friends I need already.
Since this is the first day, we didn't really do much, though we did have a blast in the swimming pool. For some reason, swimming inside swimming pools is so much more enjoyable when you're out at sea. It's hard to explain, you'd have to experience it yourself to understand. We sang some songs together not too long ago, then we called it a day and went to bed. I'm looking forward to the future days though. We'll get to play some games - not board games, more similar to party games, and maybe we'll compete against each on Drag Racing 3, who knows? We'll also be having a nice, big buffet, unlike today, where we just ate what we wanted and spent most of the days messing about. I look forward to the days to come.
So yeah, it has been a really enjoyable experience so far and I've had a lot of fun. I wish you could join us too, diary, but unfortunately, you're an inanimate object, so that's a no. But I very much look forward to tommorrow and I - Whoa! That was weird. The boat kind of rocked to the side a little. But I'm sure ----- What ------ Okay, something's wrong, what's going on? Oh god, what's happening? There are people screaming. No. No, I'm scared, diary. No, wait. I've got to be a man. I've got to see what's going on. I've got to -
