Four years of hell.

Chapter three

I sit in maccas with my new friend, eating chips and laughing. But the fun ends when I hear the voice of my meanest bully.
"Oh my god guys it's the school slut." Courtney laughs. I look down with a frown, I notice the emotion on Jake's face has changed from happy to angry.
"Hey hot stuff, what's a guy like you hanging with a pathetic slut like her?" Courtney asks Jake. Jake opens his mouth but I just shake my head to tell him not to.
"Aren't you and what's his face, um Luke, dating?" I ask Courtney.
"Yes, I started dating him after your little one night stand and dump." She replies as if I am an idiot, I fight back the tears, I had gotten used to the bullying that the tears had just stopped, but after meeting Jake, after having someone treat me as if I am a human being, the tears are back.
"And what would Luke think about you flirting with my friend here?" Courtney rolls her eyes and leaves the fast food restaurant. I turn to face Jake who has a questioning look on his face.
"Luke? Is he the guy that made the rumour?" Jake asks looking concerned. I sigh, it's probably better Jake finds out the true story before h hears all the lies.
"Luke and I had been dating at least five months, and it was the last day of term one grade seven, we were in my room after school. Luke has said my outfit made me look hot, but then tried to make me take my top off, I wouldn't, a bit later, after we made out a bit, he tried to take my top off, I told him to leave, and then he told everyone that I fucked him then broke up with him." I frown. I wait for a reply, but Jake just sits there looking like I just shot him.
"I never broke up with him, and he didn't brake up with me. So does that mean we are still dating?" I ask with a laugh. But Jake still can't form any words, I just sigh and look down, Jake only manages to squeak out one little "wow".
"Can we change subject?" I request as I go back to eating my chips, and after a moment Jake starts a conversation about music.
