Life's Too Short

Meeting

Lauryn and Grace brought Sam to their house for the night and decided that tomorrow they would properly introduce him to Lana.
"Lauryn! Grace! It's you." Sam said.  Grace and Lauryn stared at each other for a moment.
"Wait, you remember us?" Lauryn asked.
"Yes!" Sam replied.
"Your mom said you didn't remember her though." Grace said try to hide how surprised she was.
"It's true, when mom first came in I didn't remember her but then I had this "fit" and I remember her and you guys." Sam explained.
"Oh, well, okay then. Did you wanna go see your mom?" Grace asked.
"Do you think she wants to see me?" Sam said.  Lauryn and Grace both smiled.
"Yes, of course, she is very worried about you." Lauryn answered.
"It's getting kinda late now though so we should probably wait until tomorrow." suggested.
"C'mon Sam I'll show you to your room." Lauryn said.
"Okay...Thanks." Sam replied.

The Next Day

"C'mon Sam it's time to meet your mom!" Lauryn said excitedly.
"I'm already ready!" Sam called as he ran downstairs. 
"Well, I see you dressed up nice! Did your mom turn into your date?" Grace joked.
"Haha very funny." Sam laughed.
"I just hope my mom will forgive me." Sam added.
"Sam, your her son, she will always forgive and love you." Grace said with a smile.
"You think so?" Sam asked.
"I know so." Grace replied.
"Well what are we waiting for lets go see my mom!" Sam said.
"You two get in the car I will be there in a second." Lauryn  told them.  Sam and Grace went out to the car and Lauryn sent a text to Lana.
The text read:
Hello Lana, we are otw now, please remember that Sam is very nervous about meeting you. So please be patient as he try's to understand everything that has happened over the past few days.

Once the text was sent Lauryn went out to the car and they drove to Starbucks to meet Lana.  Before the car even stopped Sam jumped out of the car and started walking towards the door.  When he did he all of a sudden got super dizzy and then everything went black...
"SAM!!" Lauryn yelled.
"Grace quick go inside and get Lana!" Lauryn  said. Grace quickly ran through the door and returned a few minutes later with Lana running behind her.
"What happened?" Lana asked.
"I honestly have no idea, we were driving here Sam got out of the car and then fainted." Lauryn replied.
"Well, well, well, it's this just precious!" Came a creepy voice from behind. It was Sean.
"YOU, WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!" Lana yelled.
"DID YOU DO THIS TO HIM?" She quickly added.
"Of course not dearie." Sean said with a evil smile.
"DON'T LIE TO ME!" Lana demanded.
"I have nothing to say to you except. Watch your back!" Sean answered.  Then he drove off.
"WHY THAT TWISTED LITTLE...." Lana started.
"Mom..." Came a small weak voice from behind her.
"Sam, oh thank goodness your alright." Lana said rushing towards him.
"Mom who was that guy?" Sam asked.
"That was um, a man." Lana responded as she looked at Grace and Lauryn and winked.
"He's not very nice and well he's mad at me." Lana explained.
"Why is he after you?" Sam asked with concern in his voice.
"Well, I know you don't remember this but the night that you got in the car accident... He was the reason... He's your dad." Lana answered.
"My dad?" Sam asked.
"Yes, we were having a argument... And he took you. That's why you got in the car accident... It's my fault." Lana sobbed.
"No, it's not your fault. I remember what happened." Sam told her.
"You do?" Lana asked.
"Yes, you guys were having a argument because he said that we were just as much his kids as yours, then to prove it he took me, I remember saying I will defend you until I die." Sam said with a slight smile on his face.
"Oh, Sam, I love you so much." Lana said with her eyes glazed over with tears.
"Um, Lana?" Grace finally said.
"It's probably not safe for Sam to be around you right now, so maybe he should stay with us." Hannah suggested.
"Good idea!" Lana said.
"Sam is that okay?" Lana asked.
"Sure, as long as your safe." Sam replied.  After saying goodbye Grace and Lauryn took Sam to his temporary home.
