Chapter 1

Caroline's POV

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

"Ughh,"I groan in annoyance when I hear my obnoxious alarm clock go off, immediately pressing the off button. Reluctantly, I open my eyes and instantly cover them up with my hands because it's ridiculously bright.

After my eyes adjust, I lean over to my nightstand and pick up my iPhone 4 to check the notifications and the time, 9:04 a.m. . Sadly now I have to actually get out of bed. I lazily get up and step on to the cold hard floor.

I open the light blue door with white letters that says "Caroline Elise Braun" and walk out of my room. I start heading towards downstairs to the kitchen.

Right when I get to the wooden staircase, I accidentally bump into someone. This causes me to trip and basically makes me almost fall down the stairs. I gasp. Instantly a pair of strong arms wraps around me, keeping me from falling down the stairs to my death. I look up and immediately feel the heat rush to my cheeks.

What's with the blushing? I think to myself.

I am surprised when I see a pair of hazel eyes looking down at me, "Morning sunshine." He said with a smirk, not breaking eye contact with me. I grin ,"Oh my gosh you guys are back early!!" I said while he pulls me in for a tight hug, we pull back and I look at him," I missed you so much! Thanks for not letting me fall and break myself." He chuckles lightly, "I missed you too Caroline! And your welcome. Breakfast is downstairs, your dad made pancakes. I'll be down in a few minutes."

He drops his arms from my waist, smiles, and starts walking towards his guest room. "Ok, see you in a little bit," I said with a smile. I see him turn around smile back and him nod. Then I carefully walk down the stairs making sure there is no one else I can accidentally run into.

I can't believe my best friend is back!!

I think to myself. My best friend just happens to be pop-star Justin Bieber, whom I've been friends with since I was eleven. My dad is Scooter Braun is Justin Bieber's manager. They apparently just got back early from the My World tour without telling me.

I walk into our very large kitchen and hear my dad say " Good Morning," I turn around and jump on him, giving him a huge hug. "I missed you dad! Why didn't you tell me you were gonna get back early?" I said. He smiles back and says," I missed you too! We decided to surprise you, so we didn't mention anything when we found out we were coming back early."

"Well it was a great surprise! How long of a break do you guys get?" I said. "Most of the summer, apart from a few photo shoots and interviews ," he said excitedly. "That's great!", I said surprised.

I grab a plate and put some pancakes and syrup on it, while sitting down at the kitchen bar. I look up and smile seeing Justin, wearing plaid pajama pants and no shirt, walk in and grab some pancakes too.

He looks so cute in the mornings. I shake my head, I'm not supposed to think that about my best friend.

He sits down in the seat beside me. "Do you want to hangout today?" I asked, while looking at him. "Sure, how about we eat and then go swim at my place ?" he suggests. "Definitely! But first, pancake eating contest," he looks at me and smirks, "Your on, but prepare to lose!"

I start eating the pancakes as fast as I can piece by piece, and so does Justin. We look up once in a while to see how far the other is, while still trying to focus on winning.

"DONE" I yell while swallowing the last piece.
"DANGIT" he yells half a second later, while swallowing his last bite.

He grins and looks at me sticking his hand out in the process,"Good game," he said. I take his hand and shake it, "Good game. Now go get ready so we can go to the beach," I said while standing up and taking our dishes to the sink to wash them.

As I'm walking towards the sink he gently grabs my side and turns me around making me blush,"You go, let me clean up breakfast." I smile, "Thanks Jay," he smiles back at me with his big brown eyes,"Anytime Caroline." Which makes me smile even bigger. I turn around and go up to my room to get ready.

A/N Hey guys what's up its Maggie. Sorry for the short chapter, they will usually be longer. Again this is my first story and I hope you like it. I have been reading watt pad for a pretty long time and finally decided to write my own story. I had been outing it off for a while but I'm really excited now that I've started it I really enjoy writing so I decided to write this book. I freaking love Justin ( I just had to say that).
