Chapter 4

Caroline's POV

I woke up to the faint sound of soft snores and a pair of strong arms wrapped around me.

Opening my eyes I realize I'm looking at possibly the cutest and most attractive thing I've ever seen, Justin sleeping right beside me. He looked so peaceful. I didn't want to move and wake him up. It was so comfortable, and I felt safe in his arms. Sadly,I was really hungry, so I decided to go make us breakfast.

Gently, I tried to slip out of his arms. But as soon as I tried to move, his arms instantly tightened and pulled me close to him. He started to stir, so I quickly picked up my phone and took a picture of him, whilst also checking the time, 10:30 a.m.

He opened his eyes and smiled when he saw me. I smiled back and ran a hand through his soft hair,"Morning sleepy head."

"Morning Caroline," he said in a raspy voice that practically sounded like heaven on earth. My stomach made a weird noise, signaling that I need food.

"You hungry?" He said ever so softly.

"Yeah, starving," I said.

He gently removed his hands and got up, but not before giving me a quick tight huge. Causing me to blush and feel extremely cold when he got up.

"Let's go eat," he said and started walking downstairs. I get up and follow him downstairs, my bare feet hitting the cold hard floor with every step.

I walk into the kitchen, and see him get two bowls and spoons out for us to eat cereal. He grabs the cereal box, and I grab the milk.

I pour myself a bowl and start chomping down. "Mhmmmm," I groan,"This tastes so good." I glance over at Justin who looks very happy to be eating now.

"Hey guys," my dad said while walking into the kitchen and grabbing a bowl for cereal. "Morning dad, what's up?" I said.

"Nothing much, don't forget Justin you have an important meeting today." He said, glancing over at Justin. His face turned into a slight frown.

"Aw man, I'm sorry Caroline I forgot. I will make it up to you, I promise."He said looking directly at me.

I look down at my cereal with a disappointment painted on my face, "It's okay Jay, don't worry about it." I get up and clean up my dishes, sticking them in the dishwasher.

I walk up to my room, go into my bathroom, and take a relaxing, and much needed shower.

I get out with a towel, and wrap it around me, while going in my closet to pick out an outfit for the day. I chose a camouflage jacket, white t-shirt, light wash jean short shorts, and black and white converse. With a few bracelets as the finishing touch. I go back in my bathroom, put on very light makeup, brush my teeth, and put my hair honey light brown hair to make it slightly wavy.

"We are leaving Caroline, be back around 7:30." My dad yelled as they went out the door.

"Ok!" I yelled for him to hear.

I decided I was going to go shopping by myself. I walk back into my room, grab my phone, keys, and wallet in my purse. I head out the door and get into my charcoal grey Jeep with tinted windows.

The drive was pretty short, thankfully there wasn't very much traffic.

I get out and go into the mall, going into multiple different stores. American Eagle, Hollister, Journeys, Forever 21, and a bunch of other places.

With all my heavy bags of clothes, I walk out and load up my car with all my stuff. I check the time on my phone,6:46, wow I was there for a long time. I haven't eaten all day so I stop by McDonald's on the way home.

I pull in the drive way that is still empty, which means they aren't home yet. I grab my bags, go inside,and set them down inside my closet.

I change into some pajama short shorts and a black t-shirt that had a white Nike check on it and sat on my bed. Then my phone went off, scaring half to death.

I look at the called ID, while rolling my eyes. It's Justin:

Caroline: "Hello"

Justin: "Hey it's Justin"

Caroline: "I know. What do you need?"

Justin: "I just called to let you know that we won't be home till tomorrow evening. I'm so sorry Caroline, I will seriously make it up to you."

Caroline: "Ok, whatever"

Justin: "Wait- "

I hung up before he could finish.

I yelled, "Ughh!" I just wanted to spend time with him but he is gonna be gone until tomorrow night. I just want to forget about it right now.

This calls for some emergency food, because when does food not help you feel better.

I put on some grey Nike sweatpants that are skinny, black vans, and just leave the shirt I have on. I grab my purse and go get in my Jeep.

I quickly go into the store, hoping I don't see anyone I know. Grabbing ice cream, candy, and Doritos I go to check out.

The cashier rings up my stuff and bags it for me. I grab the bags, and load them into the car. I get in the car and drive home.

I get home and go up to my room. I jump on my bed and turn Grey's Anatomy, and start stuffing my face with food.

At 2 a.m. I can barely hold my eyes open so I turn the tv off, plug my phone up, and go to sleep.
