Chapter 7

Caroline's POV

Besides the faint sound of music in the background, the car ride was pretty silent. It wasn't an awkward silence though, it was comfortable. I loved it when we have those moments where we sit here and just enjoy being with one another.

With one hand on the wheel driving and the other hand laced in mine, Justin sat beside me. His face looked peaceful with the slightest hint of a grin.

I watched as his expression changed and the slight grin grew to a smile when he saw me studying his face.

I really couldn't stop staring at him. His glowing hazel brown eyes complimented his face, and his lips. Oh lord his lips. They were just so soft and pink. Making me really really tempted to kiss him.

I reluctantly tore my gaze from him and to the road ahead of me. I glanced out the window, it was a familiar place. I felt like I had been there before, and
then it all came back to me.

Flashback 4 years ago

"Jay quit it!" Justin was tickling me and getting on my last nerve.

"Tell me you love me," he said laughing so hard he had to hold his stomach.

"No!" I said trying not to give in to him, I don't think I can handle it.He intensified his tickling speed and I couldn't take it anymore.

"Ok ok, I love you. Now get off of me!" I told him.

He went to get the blanket and basket ready, but I remained there, watching people arrive to see the movie .

We were currently at the Starlight Six drive-in movie theater in Atlanta. We come here every Friday, just Justin and I.

We have this secret spot in the very back that we always go to, and you can see the screen perfectly from there. We always sneak in a picnic basket because the food they have is too expensive.

"You coming NC? The movie is about to start." I hear Justin say.

"Yeah. I'll be there in a sec." I said

End of Flashback

A smile appeared on my face remembering all the memories we had together here.

"Oh my gosh Jay this is great!" I said. He pulled into the theater parking lot and went to go pay.

He got back in the car,and drove us back to our favorite spot. I watched him while he parked and got out of the car, quickly jogging over to my side and open the door for me.

"My lady," he says while holding out his hand for me to grab. I can't help but let a cheesy grin tug on my face.

Taking his hand, I get out to see that the blanket has already been laid out , and there's a pizza box with a couple snacks and drinks.

"Jay it's perfect ," I turn to face him. 

"Well, I wanted it to be special and I thought this would be the perfect place," he said with a smile.

Ughhhhhh. His smile is so beautiful.

"You did great," I said, looking at his eyes and then letting my gaze travel to his lips.
