( Mickey's Pov )
I sat on Faceless's cot now, clinging to his bed sheets.
Faceless huffed. "Mind getting off my cot?" The thickness of his German accent weighed down his words.
I nodded, getting off his cot. Once I had got off Faceless climbed onto the cot and pulled out a book from his crate.
The cover of the book was a weird one indeed but the title made some sense,'The Trial'.
The title was wrote in bold letters, a bit too bold if you ask me.
He laid back and opened up the book.
A red bookmark fell from the book landing in his lap.
"Verdammt!" He cursed.
He slurred his v's and w's.
Hmm, verdammt? I wonder if that is a word...
I should ask...
"Hey Faceless?" I asked the ravenette.
"Ja?" He asked.
Ja? Verdammt? What's up with these words?!
"What's verdammt and ja mean?" I asked, wanting to get to the bottom of this.
"Hmm? Oh! Vell 'ja' means 'yes' and 'verdammt' means 'damn'....wait..should I even be telling you vhis?" He asked, his expression set for question.
"Maybe..not.." I admitted but, man, I want to learn a bit of German!
"Vell no more swears or Jailbird'll have my arsch." He said, picking up his bookmark and shoved it in his crate.
"Hey I thought you said no more swearin'!" Chipper yipped.
I jumped, I had forgot he was here.
"I know, I know but ve all know she vill!" Faceless said, tossing his book into his crate.
"Yeah' we sorta' do." Decker said, not even bothering to look up.
What was he doing you ask?
He and Chipper ar-were playing Go Fish.
And just for giggles, Jailbird seems to have no intention of letting me go back to D-Tent and get settled down so here I am, stuck in E-Tent listening to them converse. Well not all of them. Those three other guys were still in the Wreck Room and Jailbird had left earlier to go see what was going on outside the tent.
I even asked her to let me go back but she said,'No, not yet.'
Huff, she is so stubborn!
Chipper and Faceless glared at each other, Faceless's glare seemingly being darker.
Chipper backed down.
"Did Chips give up?" Decker asked.
"Yup." Rut said, poking his head out from under his makeshift 'pillow' fort.
It wasn't much but I was surprised he could make one out of a few bed sheets and eight pillows.
"Alright." Decker said, dragging a hand through his messy hair.
"Faceless...?" I asked, turning to the German.
"Ja?" He asked.
"Can you teach me how to speak German..?" I asked, hesitantly.
"Klar, würde ich gerne!" He exclaimed, happiness embedded into his thick tone.
"Ahem, what was that?" Rut asked, he seemed to have been listening.
"I said,'Sure, I'd love to!'" Faceless explained.
"Really?" I asked him.
"Sure just promise me not to mess vith vhose D-Tenters vith it, okay?"
"Ja!" I said.
"Zee? You're learning!" He cheered. "Weißt du was? Das wird so viel Spaß machen!"
"What does that mean?" I asked.
I said,'You know what? This'll be so much fun!'" He explained.
"Can you do one word at a time?"
"Sure." He said.
This is going to be fun.
( Zigzag's Pov )
Where is that new girl?
I know I shouldn't be worried for a new girl like her but I feel like I should be worried.
Should I not be worried? Or shouldn't I?
I should ask Racko if she's okay or something...
Racko made me feel uneasy but at least I wasn't the tallest kid in D-Tent anymore.
He had introduced himself to us properly after Mickey had left and he seemed unnerved that she wasn't there.
I wonder why..
Well anyways, Mickey looked dainty but she had a glint in her eye that would send anyone running.
I was interested but I was still as uneasy I was with Racko and she didn't even spare a few minutes just to talk to us.
It was surprising to all of us that she got out of the tent as soon as possible.
X-Ray wanted to know why she was here.
Armpit wanted to see if she could take a joke.
Magnet wanted to see if she had a love for animals, the sneaky devil...
Squid was unsure what he wanted to ask her.
Caveman wanted to know if she knew how to dig, the shy lil' shoe-stealer...
Zero...well..no one knew what he wanted to know or at least ask her so we didn't bother making him talk.
I just wanted to be her friend really.
Yes, I know, I know but I feel like I can trust her and my paranoia is not going to get in the way!
I looked over at Racko who was sitting on his cot, fiddling with his fingers. "Hey do ya' know where Mickey is?" I asked him.
"She's in E-Tent." He said, looking over at me.
"Alright." I said, getting up.
"Where you going?" He asked, his expression set for question.
"You'll see." I said, walking out of the tent.
I left him sitting there dumbfounded.
I walked over to E-Tent, words and accents of different sorts erupted from the tent.
I barely remember the boys that resign in this tent.
Let's see who I can remember.....
Decker, Chipper, and Rusty...? Wait aren't there eight of them? Oh nevermind!
"Hey!" I called through the tent flap.
"Come on in!" Someone called from the other side of the tent flap.
I entered the tent.
Mickey and a black haired boy were sitting on a cot that was shoved far into a corner.
A green haired boy sat under a fort of pillows and bed sheets.
Two brunettes sat over in the corner playing cards.
Hmm I thought there was eight of them..
"Hey Zigzag!" Mickey said, looking over at me with a smile spreading itself across her lips.
I waved, a smile working it's way onto my lips.
The boy sitting next to her looked over at me. "Huh? A D-Tenter? Zhis is rare." He said, a thick German accent weighing down his words.
"Yeah and I think you have someone that belongs to D-Tent?"
"Ziggy I came here by myself!" Mickey protested, jumping to E-Tent's defense.
This girl is full of surprises.
"Ok..and did you just call me Ziggy?" I asked, confused.
"Eh? Don't like it?" She asked, her eyebrows furrowed.
I guess she was thinking up more nicknames if I didn't like 'Ziggy' but I actually did like it.
"I like it." I said.
She grinned. "I knew you would!" She said, happiness embedded in her tone.
I was happy to make her day.
"So what are you doin' here?" Chipper, I believe that's his name, spoke, his voice coming out rough from his chapped lips.
"Here to get Mickey back to D-Tent. Racko's getting worried." I lied, Racko wasn't worried and his 'sister' wasn't even present to make sure these guys didn't try anything!
"Hey, that's a lie!" The green haired boy exclaimed, poking his head out of the fort he made out of pillows and bed sheets.
I bit my lip, how could he tell?
Chipper snapped at him, anger flooding his light green eyes. "You couldn't even tell the differences between a camel and a llama!"
The green haired boy looked over at Chipper. "At least I got color!" He retorted.
"Still how'd ya' know it was a lie?" The other brunette asked, dragging a hand through his hair.
"Um..." The green haired boy was taken aback by his tent mate's question.
"Anyways! Ziggy, Racko's that worried?" Mickey asked, an expression of worry spreading itself across her features.
"Yeah." I lied.
Mickey jumped up. "Sorry guys but Racko needs me!" She exclaimed, grasping my hand.
She dragged me out of E-Tent.
How can she drag me when I'm about a head taller than her?!
Mickey dragged me back to D-Tent and into the tent.
For Pete's sake how can she drag me?! I'm dying to know!
Once Mickey had dragged me into the tent she let go of my hand and tackled Racko, who was standing over his cot, smoothing out the sheets. She caught him off guard and he toppled over.
A string of curses spilt from his mouth.
He wasn't happy someone caught him off guard, was he?
( Racko's Pov )
Someone tackled me, truly surprising me. I ended up toppling over.
A string of curses spilt from my mouth.
I wasn't happy and everyone knew it!
My head was throbbing. Each throb made my head pound. Sure, I was used to this but I didn't like this throbbing..at..all.
I rubbed the back of my head and looked up at the certain someone that was laying on top of me now.
My eyes met bright yellow ones.
Oh my..
