"Time for dinner I guess. See you after for capture the flag," I told Piper as I headed for my table.
"See you later."
I walked over to my table and gave a portion of my food to gods. I sat down and began to eat. I looked around and saw that the Hunters were here, Nico was at the Apollo table with Will, Piper at the Aphrodite table with Izza, and Abby at the Hermes table laughing with the Stolls. After dinner was over everyone went to get ready for capture the flag. I was putting on my new watch shield that Tyson had remade me when Abigail came over to me.
"What is everyone preparing for?" she asked.
"Capture the flag," I said with a grin.
"With weapons and armor?"
"Yep. The Stolls did arm you didn't they?" I asked slightly concerned.
"Yeah they gave me this dagger. Shouldn't you have a weapon and some armor?" She told me showing a dagger with a gem on the hilt.
"I am," I replied holding up my pen and watch.
"Okay then," Abby said as Chiron went to the front of the forest.
"The rules are the same. No maiming or killing, the creek is the boundary. I will be acting as field medic," Chiron said and cantered out of the way. I looked at the teams. Camp Half-Blood versus the Hunters of Artemis.
Malcolm was making the game plan. I, of course, was guarding the boundary, the creek. When I got to the creek Abby was with me on guard duty.
"I'm going to give you a fair warning. Watch out for arrows, traps, lightning, and water. The lieutenant of Artemis and I have a bit of a rivalry," I told Abigail as the conch horn blew signaling the start of the game. I uncapped Riptide waiting for the Hunters.
"Your sword just came out of your pen. Okay then, that's new," she said as I went in the water.
"Be careful."
"Got it," she said and stood off to the side of me. Soon enough you could hear the campers and the hunters. Then I saw Thalia.
"Hey Kelp Head. How have you been?" Thalia asked.
"Good. How's the hunt, Pinecone Face?" I replied.
"It's the same," She said before calling down a strike of lightning. I, in return, made a wave and crashed down on her.
"Whose your friend?" Thalia said spitting out water. I looked back at Abby briefly as Thalia hit me with another lightning strike. Hitting me in the chest.
