Falling Unexpectedly(Destiel highschool au)

Chapter 3

(Deans perspective)

They pulled up outside of the Winchesters house. Dean stayed seated and took a few breaths, before putting on a smile and turning to Cas, "Alright, lets do this." They got out of the impala, and headed to the front door. As soon as Dean opened the door Sam ran past laughing, as their big black lab, Sunny, chased after him. Chuckling, Dean walked in and gestured for Cas to follow him. Once they entered, Deans mother walked over to them.

"Hey baby," she said, kissing Dean on his forehead. He grumbled, and turned a bright shade of pink. "Whos this?" she said, turning to Cas.

"Mom, this is Castiel. He's new at school," he said, turning to smile at Cas.

Castiel stuck out his hand, but instead Mrs.Winchester pulled him in for a hug, "In this family we hug, very nice to meet you, Castiel."

"You as well," he said being released from the hug. Dean grabbed Cas by the wrist and pulled in the direction of the kitchen, where his father was.

"Dad," he said. His father turned around, wiping his hands on a dishrag, "This is Castiel, he's my new friend." Mr.Winchester brought him into a big hug.

"Nice to meet you, kid," he said. He turned to Dean and ruffled his hair. Dean groaned and flattened it out. Once again he grabbed his wrist, and this time, pulled him out an open door, towards the backyard. They entered the crisp, autumn air. Dean pulled him towards his younger brother, Sam.

"Hey Sam, this is my friend Cas!" he shouted over the laughing of Sam, and the dogs barking. Sam looked over and waved, jogging over.

He stuck out his hand, "Hi, I'm Sam." Cas shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you," Cas said as Sam ran off after the dog. Dean chuckled and grabbed onto Cas' wrist, his fingers brushing over his hand, sending shivers up both boys' spines. Dean shook his head and pulled Cas back towards the house.

"I'll show you my room," he said, leading Cas up a set of stairs. They turned the corner and came upon a worn door. Dean opened it up and dragged Cas in, quickly shutting the door. His room was decorated with band posters and some model cars.

(Cas' perspective)

Cas looked around Deans room curiously. It was disorganised, but not necessarily messy. There was some clothes on the floor and his bed was unmade. "Whats a 'Metallica?" he said walking up to a poster.

"Its a band Cas," Dean said chuckling and shaking his head. Dean went and sat on his bed and patted beside him, for Cas to join. Cas sat down and turned slightly to face Dean. They locked eye contact, until Cas broke it, and looked down at Deans lips. He thought about what kissing those lips would feel like, but blinked, trying to rid himself of the thought. Dean slowly slid his hand over until his fingers were in the spaces between Castiel's. Cas slowly looked up and met Deans bright green eyes. Dean then, pushed his hand up onto Cas'. Cas drew in a choppy breath and looked down at their hands.

"D-dean, what are you doing," he said, breathily.

"Just roll with it," he said, dragging his hand further up Cas' arm, all the way to his shoulder. He squeezed lightly, and rubbed his thumb over his collar bone. Cas swallowed the lump in his throat and stifled a moan.

'What the hell?' he thought. Dean brought his hand up onto Cas' knee. Castiel bit his lip and looked down.

"Fuck, don't do that," Dean said. Cas looked into Deans lust filled eyes. Cas scooted closer to Dean until their knees were touching. Dean shifted his hand until it was on Cas' thigh. They leaned in until their lips were inches away, when they heard a knocking at the door. They jumped apart to separate ends of the bed.

Dean squeaked out a small 'yeah' and cleared his throat, "Uh, yeah?"

"Dinner," Sam said from the other side of the door. The two boys got up and awkwardly shuffled out the door and downstairs.
